Preston Waters is your typical 12 year old boy with one desire - sweet stacks of fat cash. When a convicted bank robber breaks out of prison and accidentally runs over Preston's bike, Preston finally gets what he's been asking for - a blank check. Using his savvy computer skills, Preston creates a check for one million dollars, and due to being mistaken for Tone Loc (a simple mistake to make, really) is able to cash the check.
