You have started this website as a way to get the information out to as many as possible in a fun, exciting format. Each week will do our best to focus on one concept or one idea. The beauty is for people throughout the district to connect and share these ideas that are presented here. One week you may find the information to be GREAT, the next maybe doesnt suit your needs. We hope people of like mind will be able to connect and share how they are using the resources provided.

Hi I'm Jenny and for the 6th TMS(?) IT weekly. We are going to discuss the Google advance search and how you're gonna apply to 21st century learning and last week Tim and Jake had talked to you about the partnership for 21st century skills in reference to that website and we'll be talking a little bit more about that today. Right. So today we're gonna look at the thinking and learning skills about address in the T 21 and we're gonna apply that to critical thinking and problem solving skills and information in media literacy skills

Has a lot of great ideas out there and we would love to share them with you. Each week we'll do our best to focus on one concept to still down to exactly what you need right now. I hope that's true but there's one thing I noticed was missing today man. Music, there was no music, none. Well people hasn't had a lot of time to give us suggestions, true and we haven't had a lot of time, nope either. Alright, so what's going on this week. Today, we'd like to look at 21st Century Skills. Specifically how we collaborate as teachers or even collaborate with students but really wanna focus in on the collaboration aspect of 21st Century Skills.

So for this third CMS weekly we're going to take a moment to discuss the national educational technology plan. The NETP. Now all of this plan came out in 2010 it just came out in November of 2010. It's gonna set the course as we go so each month we would like to bring one idea from the NETP in July to you weekly to discuss and we were at a time and many of our teachers are looking for things that need a document and places where they getting ideas and this might be one of the places that they might

Well for this first CMS Technology weekly we've decided to own review the CMS acceptable use policy which for sure just called AUP(?) for acceptable use policy. Now this may not be exciting but it is necessary. Our passionate and instructional technology is to offer tools that are beneficial to students teachers, administrators that many of these tools of the 21st century skills required a level of etiquette bye our instructional staff that you that is imperative that we all aware of the burden of responsibility that is upon us.
