    Continuing on the same path which Monsignor Pope started, Therese led couples in a reflection on the practical matters of praying together. Her talk included considerations of places in the home for prayer, the intimacy of joining in prayer, saying each other’s names in prayer, turning to the Cross, and much more. On Saturday, October 20, 2018, couples throughout the Catholic Diocese of Arlington cast out into the deep to enrich their already profound relationships with God and their fiancé/es or spouses. The Communication and Prayer Workshop was at the Church of the Nativity in Burke, VA, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The event began with Holy Mass and featured talks on expression and understanding, a Q&A, and time for prayer. Speakers included Msgr. Charles Pope of the Archdiocese of Washington, Thérèse Bermpohl, Executive Director of the Office of Marriage, Family and Respect Life of the Diocese of Arlington, and Mary Lynn Dixon, Prayer and Healing Ministry Leader.
