Chaz & Aj In The Morning

Daymon Patterson, AKA Daym Drops, was in studio with Chaz and AJ this morning. Daym talked about his early viral fame on YouTube, recording food reviews in his car during lunch breaks at his other job, to working for Rachel Ray and getting his own show on NetFlix. Today, he's back in charge of his own content, and even did a live review of some Haven Hot Chicken sandwiches. 

Phil is back in studio, so Chaz and AJ got a short explanation of his time off. Plus, Chaz's son was traveling with his cat from Vegas, and the poor thing cried the whole flight. (0:00) Flying, venomous spiders are coming to Connecticut! Or are they? Dr. Gale Ridge, "the bug lady" was on to explain why these articles and warnings are not completely correct. (5:11) Dumb Ass News - A family was terrified when their daughter was plucked out of their vehicle by a giraffe. Turns out, you should not let your child sit in the back of a pickup during a drive through zoo experience. (18:38)

Channel 3's Scot Haney called Chaz, AJ and Vince Berry to discuss the ongoing debate over shopping carts and to pitch ideas for a new musical about New Haven pizza. (0:00) The Tribe was asked about the most unlikely places they ever found illicit goods being sold, and there were several surprises! (19:16) Boss Keith sat in with Chaz & AJ to kick off summer vacation season with his Top 5 Problems with Hotels. (38:43)

Another chapter in the saga of "AJ and the DMV"!  It looked like he may have finally completed his task, but there was still one small complication. (0:00) Jimmy Koplik from Live Nation had updates on the Soundside Festival, a game of rock & roll word association, and stories about the stages used by both David Lee Roth and Pink Floyd. (6:55) The chief strategy officer for Ashley Madison, Paul Keable, chatted about the company's business model and the effect on their client base that resulted from a recent Netflix documentary. (28:09) Dumb Ass News - A Massachusetts crossing guard was arrested and fired after beating a mother with his stop sign. (35:09)

AJ has to return to the DMV yet again, and a Tribe member (who works there!) called in with some helpful tips. (0:00) Dumb Ass News - Chaz, AJ and comedian Dan Brown reported on another story for Waffle House Week involving a couple confused by the menu, and had different opinions about a mom and her parking lot practices. (5:17) Everyone is known for something, and the Tribe shared their special skills and features that make them unique. (15:07)

Chaz, AJ and comedian Ayesheh Mae were joined in-studio by Flat Earth Dave to hear his case for why the Earth is not round (among other topics), and the Tribe had many questions and comments!

Chaz & AJ called Connoisseur Media CEO Jeff Warshaw to wish him a happy birthday and hear his reflections on his ownership of WPLR. (0:00) A woman was pronounced dead at a nursing home in Nebraska, only to have that decision reversed in a funeral home. (6:19) Actor and voice artist John Ratzenberger spoke about his upbringing in Connecticut, his roles in Cheers, Star Wars and Pixar movies, and how much he misses CT pizza. Former FBI Special Agent Ken Grey joined Chaz & AJ in-studio to discuss infamous Federal cases with Connecticut connections, the job of an FBI profiler, and his thoughts on the Dulos/Traconis outcome. 

A woman with a "cryptic pregnancy" unknowingly gave birth in a chain restaurant, and Chaz & AJ had thoughts.  And many questions. (0:00) Dumb Ass News - Waffle House Week began with audio coverage of a massive late-night free-for-all brawl in a Texas location. (10:46) Stunt or Stupid?  Comedian Emily Siero joined Chaz & AJ in-studio, along with professional waxer Toni Rodriguez of Body Genie Aesthetics, to test out AJ's pain threshold during the Hot Wax Harmonica Challenge. A Wallingford man became a Good Samaritan by helping a lost runaway, and Chaz & AJ couldn't believe the increasingly bizarre layers of the story!

Dumb Ass News - A woman pranked her brother in an unsavory way, then Chaz & AJ learned about a mysterious story out of Oxford (with an eyewitness report from Chaz's wife Jennifer). Chaz & AJ asked the Tribe for stories about their workplace injuries, and some of them hit the nail on the head.  Literally. (0:00) Dumb Ass News - An unorthodox method for controlling a toddler led to questions about the cost of daycare in Connecticut. (5:26) Comedian Colin Pasquarella joined Chaz & AJ in-studio, and the story involving a grizzly bear attack on a veteran from Massachusetts opened up a discussion about the potentially dangerous situations Tribe members have witnessed. (11:54)

Connecticut State Police Sgt. Christine Jeltema and Sgt. Luke Davis joined Chaz, AJ and Eddie Sabatino in-studio to talk about the difficulty of the State Police exam, the role of the Media Relations Supervisor, and whether or not movie quotes can get someone out of a ticket.

Tribe members called Chaz & AJ with their biggest issues with cruises, from on-ship struggles to shore activities to celebrity interactions.
