Chaz & Aj In The Morning

AJ is home sick today, recovering from COVID, so comedian Pat Oates was in studio to start the show with Chaz. AJ called from home to talk about the lack of medicine and remedies he has at home, and then everyone talked about the return of spicy nuggets. (0:00) A man in Torrington was arrested for robbing a bank in Milford. The story though, is the name of this man. (12:53) Dumb Ass News - A man who accidentally texted a nude photo of his wife to his entire family. (21:17) Barry Labendz from Kent Falls Brewing was in studio to talk about beer, the farm the brewery has acquired and maintains, and the crazy amount of barley needed for just a single IPA can. (26:47)

Desmond Child is the not-so-secret name behind a ton of monster hits in rock history. Chaz and AJ had Desmond on to talk about some of the stories behind his collaborations with KISS, Bon Jovi, Aerosmith and Cher. SNL alum and Anchorman star David Koechner joined Chaz and AJ in studio, to talk about Taylor Swift's presence taking over his favorite team, the Kansas City Chiefs. Plus, trying to limit the time his kids spend on electronic devices, auditioning for SNL and the comment Lorne Michaels had about his hair, and how he landed a role on The Office. (0:00) A story has followed David Koechner that he had absolutely NOTHING to do with! He tried to clear the air from the rumor that follows him out of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. (40:09)

Another Monday, another Stunt or Stupid! AJ's music knowledge is well documented, but he's a little thin when it comes to music of the last decade. For every wrong answer he had to clip a clothespin onto his body, chosen by Chaz, Pat Oates, Phil and the Tribe. (0:00) Jeff Bellemare made headlines this weekend, when his car was stolen as he was out making food deliveries. Thankfully, the car was returned the same day, but not his dog, Luna who was in the backseat. Jeff brought us through the whole incident, with live updates from this morning on his way to the police station. (17:48) A happy conclusion to an earlier story, and the shortage of referees/umpires in Connecticut. A ref of 8 years called in to explain why things are so bad, and some of the things he's had to deal with on the field. (28:43) Dumb Ass News - A farting dog causes big problems on a plane. John Roesch is a Hollywood legend you may not know about. He's retired now, but was formerly the Lead Foley Artist at Skywalker Ranch, making the movies we love sound the way they sound. WFSB's Scot Haney was on to talk about the weekend's forecasted rain, but also seeing naked people in public, and the worst song covers ever. (0:00) Doorbell cams are more and more common, so more and more hilarious circumstances are caught on camera every day. Chaz and AJ had a few examples, from farts to bugs and some personal stories. (17:45) The Tribe called in stories about the things they swallowed by accident. The prizes in cereal boxes, false teeth, and even pins. Comedian T.J. Miller was in studio with Chaz and AJ this morning, after a very late night that involved missing his stop on the train. Still, he came up with a nickname for the new intern after following him into the bathroom, shared a story about a girl who cried throughout his entire set in Houston, and took on the Tribe in Stump the Chumps. 

Pat Oates joined Chaz and AJ this morning, as the military has finally recovered the missing jet. The local news coverage included one the all-time best eyewitness accounts to make it to TV. (0:00) Tribe member Jessica shared her dating requirements, enraging both AJ and Pat Oates. It had such an effect on AJ, that he couldn't even articulate why spelling mistakes upset him so much. (15:27) Brian Foley was on to talk about the arrests made after the viral video of the Aston Martin car-jacking out of Westport. What more will be done to prevent this from happening? (27:01) Live Nation's Jimmy Koplik was on to share updates on Bruce Springsteen, the chances we see AC/DC in CT, and to address Flea's concerns about smartphones dictating the stadium experience, ahead of the Red Hot Chili Peppers headlining Sound on Sound. Don Dokken was on with Chaz and AJ to talk about playing the Big E tonight, on "Connecticut Day," with two CT natives in the band! Plus, the band he enjoyed touring with the most, why he's never been married, and why he was a little bummed out on tour with Metallica, Van Halen and the Scorpions. 

Dumb Ass News - Bills fans are wild by nature, so you know if one of them is making headlines, something truly insane has happened. (0:00) Jaime Mahle says anger is good. She was on with Chaz and AJ to explain how anger is actually a good thing, as long as it is expressed properly. The Tribe called in some recent examples of them getting angry, so Jaime could evaluate what they could do differently in the future. (7:10) CT's Secretary of State, Stephanie Thomas, was in this morning to talk about the primary election ballot controversy in Bridgeport, and explained why she has almost no involvement on the outcome. (19:43) Dumb Ass News - There are people out there who identify as dogs. At least 1,000 of them got together recently to howl and bark together. (33:30)

Chaz and AJ finally got a chance to speak with Derby Mayor Zeke (Richard Dziekan) this morning. The primary election was decided by just 10 votes, with the mayor winding up on the short end. (0:00) Dumb Ass News - If you're only famous on Instagram, is that really famous? Chaz and AJ had some bizarre audio of a passenger getting booted from a plane. (8:11) The Tribe called in their pet injury stories, including the pug with a "lipstick" problem when he'd get too excited. (14:04) Machetes, drunk nannies and flashlight stun guns. The Tribe's stories about nightmare neighbors and road rage incidents always take unexpected turns. (21:31)

Sopranos star Steve Schirripa was on with Chaz and AJ this morning to talk about a live "In Conversation With" coming to New Haven with Michael Imperioli and Vincent Pastore. Stunt or Stupid! AJ brings out the mousetraps, and his fingers took the damage for every Tribe trivia question he couldn't answer. (0:00) Today is National Cheeseburger Day, so Chaz and AJ celebrated by bringing on the originator. Jeff Lassen from Louis' Lunch shared why they have not changed their methods for over 125 years. (17:04) Dumb Ass News - 10 minutes for a pizza seems like a reasonable amount of time to be asked to wait. Not for this man, who held up a Little Caesars when crazy bread wouldn't do the trick. Living rock legend John Fogerty was on with Chaz and AJ to talk about playing the 100th concert at the Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater in Bridgeport this weekend. Chaz and AJ had Scot Haney from WFSB on and comedian/orthodontist Blaine Langberg in studio and he tried to defend them after seeing them live recently.  Chaz and AJ asked the Tribe to share their embarrassing moments at the doctor's office. Nothing is worse than when all of the medical students come in to gawk at your nude body.  Boss Keith's Top 5 this morning was the most frustrating emails he received throughout the week. Actor, comedian, sports fan and Jim Dolan hater Michael Rapaport was in studio with Chaz and AJ today. He talked about the brutal Giants loss to the Cowboys, why he'll never go back to Barstool, and auditioning for a role in Pulp Fiction. 

Comedian Mitch Fatel was in studio with Chaz and AJ this morning, and realized live on the air that he's always had a fetish for women in stockings. He credited Chaz and AJ for the revelation breakthrough. (0:00) Mitch was just hearing about the prison escape and capture, so Chaz and AJ filled him in on the details. Lenny DePaul, former commander with the U.S. Marshal Fugitive Task was on with details on how a manhunt is carried out. (15:27) Live Nation's Jimmy Koplik had a lot to talk about today, but started with a surprising topic. Jimmy have updates on Bruce Springsteen, Aerosmith, and Primus who will celebrate 40 years in 2024. (26:32)

Papa Roach lead singer Jacoby Shaddix was on with Chaz and AJ to talk about the internal debates over the setlist each night, and the (Tribe) fan-favorite that will be included this time around.
