Chaz and AJ talk about the latest hurricane Lee trends, with a live report from Ruth. Plus, around the state's primary elections, including the new guy in Hartford.(0:00) A Connecticut couple has made headlines for saving a literal baby shark, and Sean from Bridgeport was back on today after getting a chance to meet with Geoff Tate last night. (14:59) Dumb Ass News - Ruth admitted she lets her dog lick her face, including inside her nose. (25:52) The Tribe called in their stories about getting caught in the middle of sex acts, sometimes by police, sometimes by their own children. (30:48) While talking about last night's primary results, Chaz and AJ welcomed New Haven mayor Justin Elicker who won by (more than) 70% over his competition. Geoff Tate, formerly of Queensryche joined Chaz and AJ in studio this morning. The hour-long visit included calls from the Tribe asking him for autographs on their prosthetic limbs, sharing how their kids have become musicians after seeing Geoff's performances, and trying to stump him on Queensryche trivia. Plus, Geoff shared stories about recording the original demos in minimal takes, performing with rock royalty like David Lee Roth and Dio, and eating at the world's oldest restaurant.

Dumb Ass News - A woman could not figure out why cars were pulling over for her on the highway, until she was arrested. Plus, an officer tricks fugitives by impersonating a K-9. (0:00) Waterbury Police Chief Fernando Spagnolo and Sergeant Kenneth J. Keroack joined Chaz and AJ in studio this morning to share stories from service, including the first calls they responded to and trying to apprehend a naked suspect. (3:35)

Chaz and AJ started the show this morning by remembering where they were 22 years ago, as they watched from a studio on Long Island as the attacks of 9/11 took place. Dave Russell, retired NYFD was in studio this morning as well, to share his memories from the day - from watching the second plane hit on TV, to commandeering a city bus and riding it to Ground Zero. 

Dumb Ass News - The last person you'd want to try and steal from is a professional MMA fighter. This happened in Philadelphia recently. (0:00) The one suck helium challenge, in Stunt or Stupid. AJ took some big breaths from a helium balloon, and attempted to read limericks and sing songs, and sounded curiously like Sharon Osbourne. Comedian Jim Florentine was in studio today, and is big metalhead and hard rock fan. Chaz and AJ were trying to find some common ground with WFSB's Scot Haney, and it turns out they have the same feelings about Phil Collins. 

Fred Garrity was in with Chaz and AJ to talk about the CT United Ride, scheduled to happen this weekend, though he admitted the weather has been a concern. Live Nation's Jimmy Koplik was on with Chaz and AJ this morning with a ton of exciting details, about big plans for 2025. Bridgeport is moving forward with the construction of a new music venue, to continue to bring in more musical artists. Jimmy explains how the size was very important, as it will not compete with the Toyota Oakdale Theater, or the Hartford Healthcare Amphitheatre for bookings. Plus, the Tribe calls in their questions about when they can see their favorite artists. 

Dumb Ass News - A terrified man called 9-1-1 after nearly being run off the road by a wrong-way driver. The police responded and arrested the guilty party, the man who made the initial call. (0:00) Football season is here, and Chaz and AJ are looking for tailgating tips. Josh in Shelton shared a brilliant recipe for tailgate kielbasa chili, and former NFL champion Mark Schlereth talked about Super Bowl chances for the Jets, Giants, Patriots and Cowboys. (5:22) Celebrating his 90th birthday, Batso was in studio with Chaz and AJ today to explain his plan to pull a plane by his neck. Even though he declined to answer a few questions, we learned a lot about Batso, he took off his shirt for everyone, and shared the way he'd like to die (when the time comes.) (18:56) Comedian Craig Ferguson is going to be at Foxwoods tomorrow, and talked to Chaz and AJ about the very real audience he had for the taping of The Late, Late Show. Then, John Cafferty was on to talk about performing at the Norwalk Oyster Fest and his

East Haven Mayor Carfora was in studio with Andy Pujol, to talk about Building Homes for Heroes. Andy's story began on 9/11, helping the first responders in the bucket brigade as much as he could as they sifted through the rubble of the World Trade Center looking for survivors. Andy and then founded Building Homes for Heroes, to help the first responders who needed it, including Evan Marcy of East Haven, a Purple Heart recipient who will get his home on Saturday.  

Chaz and AJ took a call from Don Shubert about the Shepherd's Men, and a big event happening this weekend for veterans and then immediately rolled into a round of "Why is AJ so Mad?" (0:00) No matter which way it goes, it makes for a memorable story. Chaz and AJ asked the Tribe to call in their stories about finding, or losing a significant amount of money. AJ's first Stunt or Stupid since returning from a week of vacation, involved a World Record attempt and his skull. Using only his forehead, he tried cracking walnuts on a table, but quickly needed some protective gear. 

Eddie Carroll was on with Chaz and AJ to talk about his big catch during the Greatest Bluefish Tournament on Earth last weekend - a 6 foot shark! (0:00) Dom of the Year was just walking by a pizza shop in Massachusetts recently, when the Barstool crew showed up for their review. The whole thing turned into a nasty shouting match, with one clear winner - Dom of the Year. (6:46) Chaz and AJ were off all last week, which sadly turned out to be busy in the music world. Live Nation's Jimmy Koplik joined the guys to talk about Jimmy Buffett, Gary Wright, Jack Sonni and Steve Harwell, who all passed away last week. Plus, Daniel Bukszpan was on to talk a little about his book on Ozzy Osbourne. Michael Morton is riding in the Closer to Free Ride, and was on with Chaz and AJ to talk about the event and his fundraising. The event raises money for Smilow Cancer Hospital and Yale Cancer Center, so Chaz helped Michael to reach his fundraising goal. A stoner idea wound up becoming a massively successful business, by the name of Subway. Chaz and AJ shared the story of the company, as they heard from folks coming into the station over the years, and participating in some legendary concert events. Subway sold for billions recently, one of the most impressive fast food sales in history. (0:00) WFSB's Scot Haney was on with Nicole Nalepa this morning, to talk about their new studio set, and the height of anchor Wendell Edwards. Plus, an update on Scot Haney's dating life and a round of 59 cent pyramid, with AJ giving clues. (10:30) Sometimes you see something so strange, you'll just never forget it. The Tribe called in their experiences witnessing strange things like animal sex in the safari drive-thru, the horrifying sights at the kids' ball pit, and a friendly monkey eating potato chips. Matt Stone, a fishing influencer who lives in Connecticut, was on with Chaz and AJ to talk about this weekend's Greatest Bluefish Tournament on Earth. There is still time to register, and Matt even dropped some hints for ways to land a competitive bluefish.

Flash Shelton has figured out how to squat out the squatters. Chaz and AJ had him on to explain the process that helped him get rid of squatters in a day, after his mother's home was taken over and the police couldn't intervene.
