    This week has been packed with news, including some personal news of my own. If you are watching the video version you may notice that I am in a different room. Well I moved but more on that later. This week's episode is so jam packed! Fedora announced the latest release of Fedora 33. There was a DMCA Takedown on youtube-dl by RIAA and we have updates on this. A new Linux powered smartphone has been announced called the Pro1 X and it's said to come with your choice of LineageOS & Ubuntu Touch. AMD made 2 big announcements this week with the Radeon RX 6000 Series and that AMD is set to acquire Xilinx. SiFive announced a new development board called HiFive Unmatched which is powered by the RISC-V architecture. At long last, Snap Packages Are Getting A Speed Boost. There has been some confusion around the X Server recently and there are discussions of if it has been abandoned. KDE announced the latest version of Plasma with version 5.20 and Pine64 made some really cool announcements of their own that I am so excited to share with you. LibreOffice published an Open Letter to Apache OpenOffice about what they think should happen with the future of OpenOffice. This one will be very interesting. We got a new release of Krita with version 4.4 this week. Later in the show we will talk about some Distro release related to 2 recovery distros: Redo Rescue 3.0 and Rescuezilla 2.0.     On this episode of This Week in Linux, we've got a lot of exciting news and even some "is this really happening?" news. First of all, the Beta for Fedora 33 with Btrfs is out now for testing. OBS Studio has released version 26.0 and there is so much awesome stuff in this release . . . I just love this application! We've also got a couple updates for some topics from previous episodes, KWinFT Project has hit Beta and Thunderbird has a new release that allows for direct upgrades. Unity Technologies has announced something they are calling 'Open Projects' which is an Open Source Game Development campaign that is very interesting! We've got a LOT of App Releases to talk about this week with the Geary (Email Client) 3.38, Virt Manager 3.0, and two new applications that are quite interesting which are Cabin: a tool to create simple apps for Linux with natural language programming, and an app that helps you find duplicates, big files, empty folders, etc called Czkawka. Microsoft announce that after a long wait everyone can rejoice that they are finally bringing Microsoft Edge to Linux! Mozilla also announced a new version of Firefox with Firefox 81. EndeavourOS has a new release of this Arch Linux based distro with version 2020.09.20 and they also announced a new ARM Edition of the distro.
