Johanna, from Gothenburg, in Sweden first featured in episode 14, back in early 2019. She had her choice of matching with any known donor in the world and ultimately picked a donor from Perth, Western Australia. What started off as an optimistic yet hopeful story ended up having so many twists and turns that many others would have perhaps given up, this is a tale of all good things that come to those who wait. Ingrid Stefaniw, 35, who now resides in Brisbane, after traveling abroad and living overseas as a health professional worker which allowed her that flexibility.
