When you are into business realize the 1st yr towards the 2nd yr of your grind, you will be broke, hungry and dusty. It is the toughest year because every coin is plowed back into your business. It is the years spent laying your foundation and maintaining your client base!

I have struggled to record this episode because this whole week, anxiety checked in and I started feeling depressed. We have gotten through the week guys... I am happy and proud of myself. I managed

We have Nelson Saitu on the show giving the psychological view on why people stay and are in toxic/abusive relationships. His revelations are very insightful!

Cashy came out allegedly stating that Khaligraph Jones was an abusive partner and he used her money and constantly made advances for her to stop working and schooling. She allowed it to happen until a time it was no longer mentally healthy for her to stay there!

Through my story , I am witnessing a healing wave come to so many people and I am thankful for the impact and positivity through everyone’s life!

I review a bit on toxic relationships and why I think people stay even in an abuse environment. I will have more of this talk with a professional on the show so that we can further address the issue:

Helping the industry grow by virtue of playing Kenyan music alone won’t help, however incorporating mentorships and doing follow ups from the well versed artists and media houses will help elevate the industry to new heights. Being an artists does not only entail fame, it requires a lot of work, dedication, sacrifice and commitment to build a brand and a powerhouse and to be honest some of our artists are very oblivious to quality and longevity of their artistry and they just want 10mins of fame rendering the whole industry mediocre. Let’s push and demand quality and help this industry grow.

Let’s support our local talents by actively pushing them to the foreground and appreciate them. It is very possible to do this.
