On today's edition of the Locked On FLORIDA Panthers Podcast, Armando Velez(@Mandoman12) crossed it over with Seth Toupal(@sethtoups) of Locked On Wild to discuss tonight's matchup between the Panthers and the Wild from Amerant Bank Arena, as the Cats will play their final home game until November 7th. The Wild are one of three teams yet to lose in regulation in this young season, and are off to a great start in a year where the have to prove to their star Kirill Kaprizov to sign long term as he will be extension eligible come July 1st, 2025. The Wild will get some cap relief with the majority cash in the buyouts of Zach Parise and Ryan Suter will come off the books, but no room to relax as other top guys on their roster will be up for a raise. The Wild have not trailed for a single second this season through their five games, and it's been the stellar play of Filip Gustavsson (who also got a goalie goal in their win against STL on 10/15).
