Constant Procession

This podcast episode of Constant Procession is about St William and the Black Madonna of Montevergine. The Virgin Mary apparated to St. William, a Benedictine monk during his pilgrimage to the Holy Land. She tasked him to stop his trek, and build the “Most Holy Mother of God Monastery” on the side of a steep mountain north of present-day Naples, Italy back in the 12th century. How could he or any other humans predict this monastery would become the fortress that protected St Lukes’ “Black Madonna” and the “Shroud of Turin” from the clutches of Hitler during WWII?
