Kilrush RNLI Urging People To Take Neccessary Precautions When Traversing Coastal Walks This Christmas

Informações:

Sinopse

Kilrush RNLI is advising people to check weather and underfoot conditions when venturing out on coastal walks during the Christmas break. As part of its campaign to promote safety near coasts in conjunction with the Irish Coast Guard and Water Safety Ireland, people are reminded to take a fully charged phone out with them and to be aware of hazardous conditions near cliff edges. If you, or a member of your party gets into difficulty, the RNLI can be contacted by dialing 999 or 112 and requesting the coast guard. Kilrush RNLI Volunteer Lifeboat Press Officer, Charlie Glynn says people shouldn't be hesitant about calling in a potential emergency and shouldn't put themselves in danger in an attempted rescue.
