Quickly, we see that Christianity isn’t a call to find ourselves, but to lose ourselves in him and to learn to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. When the church is comfortable and cultural – she tends to be weak. When the church uncomfortable and countercultural – she tends to be strong.
