PTW 058: How Cryptocurrency Is Changing Finance in Latin America with Ira Miller and Cindy Zimmerman
18/10/2016 Duração: 22minLast month I went down to Central America to investigate the hyperinflation and starvation in Venezuela. During my time in Panama City, I spent several days meeting with entrepreneurs in the cryptocurrency space. Right before my flight home, I was able to coordinate an interview with early Bitcoin adopters and entrepreneurs, Ira Miller and Cindy Zimmerman. Ira co-founded Coinapult with Erik Voorhees, which they sold a couple years ago. Since then, Ira founded GitGuild, that's building access ramps into cryptocurrencies and a trustless application framework to build decentralized applications. Cindy is the founder of TigoCTM, which distributes crpytocurrency ATMs with a heavy focus on Latin America.

PTW 057: How Ryan Created a $27,000 Monthly Income with this Overlooked “Arbitrage” Strategy
27/09/2016 Duração: 31minRyan Roots is a serial entrepreneur. After selling his business with 30 employees, he was looking to generate extra income. One Saturday morning he took $100 to see if he could use an overlooked, but time-tested “arbitrage strategy” to see if he could make money. In 3 days he made $400 in profit with the $100, and continued to scale the income stream. Within 6 months was netting $27,000 a month. Why do I call this an arbitrage strategy even though it has nothing to do with the public financial markets? Well, arbitrage is defined as the buying and selling of something in order to take advantage of differing prices for the same asset on different markets... And Ryan’s applied simple arbitrage principles to a massively undervalued and overlooked market that almost seems too simple to be so wildly profitable. The beautiful thing about this strategy is that anyone with a small amount of capital and some extra time can make money doing this. You don’t need to take on big financial risk or work 16 hour days.

PTW 056: Why College Degrees and Resumes are Becoming Worthless
10/08/2016 Duração: 13minLet me preface this topic by saying this... If your job requires a college degree to get a license to do your job (e.g. doctor, lawyer, accountant), then this probably isn't going to change anything for you anytime soon. But if you want to be an entrepreneur, self-employed, or even work for Corporate America, then you need to hear this message. The world is changing quickly... Average incomes are stagnant, where the BIG costs of living (e.g. housing, health care, education) have been going through the roof compared to inflation. And people are feeling the squeeze in their finances. You see, the middle class is quickly disappearing. More people are slipping into poverty, but there are also more millionaires being created than any time in history. College grads can't seem to find good jobs, and find themselves underemployed or not working in the field they paid $100,000 for their degree. In this episode, we explore how the economy is shifting its focus from college degrees and puffed-up resumes, to a skill-base

PTW 055: The Two-Step Formula For Creating a $100,000 Income Stream From Scratch
08/08/2016 Duração: 20minI've dedicated my life to helping people achieve "True Wealth", which means having complete ownership over your time, finances, where you choose to live, and who you spend your time with. And since we're living in the best time to be an entrepreneur, I want to help people with an entrepreneurial spirit find real pathways to creating six or seven-figure income streams. I'm not looking to co-found a company with the goal of building the next Facebook, because I define true wealth in a way that allows me to have more time freedom... And every startup founder I know has taken on the tremendous stress and responsibility of being responsible to shareholders and a big staff. That's just not for me... I'm also not looking to help people negotiate a $10,000 raise at a job they hate - That's a waste of time and won't create any lasting happiness in anyone's life. In this episode, we're going to talk about the formula to create a six-figure income in the next 12 months. We're also going to look at real-life examples of

PTW 053: Is Bitcoin a Good Investment? (Updated for 2016)
26/07/2016 Duração: 20minIn late 2013 I did my first-ever Bitcoin video that I asked, “Is Bitcoin a Good Investment?” Well, here we are almost 3 years later and I wanted to do some updated analysis. My initial thoughts on Bitcoin were positive, but in 2013 I saw significant risks and issued a warning that I thought a market crash was coming… And that was a very unpopular opinion in the Bitcoin community, but turned out to be right. During 2014, Bitcoin crashed from above $1,000 into the $200’s. Then, in 2015 Bitcoin’s price based around the $200’s where I started to accumulate for a long-term investment. I was buying in the $200’s because I was bullish on Bitcoin long-term and felt that the pre-bubble price zone was a great value area to buy. From the low’s of 2015, Bitcoin has gained about 400% as of mid-2016… And this has given rise to a plethora of positive new pieces from the mainstream media like CNBC and Forbes. So in this episode, we’re analyzing Bitcoin’s outlook into the second half of 2016 and beyond.

PTW 052: Is Day Trading Dead?
20/07/2016 Duração: 19minIt's no secret that the financial market trading arena has gone through a few major shifts over the past couple of decades... And with the advent of high-frequency computer algorithms, many old-school professional traders have been pushed out of the markets. Even really smart guys like James Altucher shut down their hedge funds after the markets changed in 2008. Yet, there still seems to be thousands of people looking to make a career out of full-time day trading. So, is it still possible or is it another career pushed out of human hands into the control of automation?

And thanks to hard work and trading the right methodology, he was able to start building wealth and pay off his student loans quickly. Here’s what Kyle had to say about his experience trading Bitcoin: “I began trading cryptocurrencies in 2013 – at the end of my college semester. I made MASSIVE mistakes, but only traded with $100. I found your videos soon after – and kept trading with small amounts until I gained more confidence (even thought I just wanted to get right into it). I was definitely holding myself back. I ended up making around $2700 – cashing out toward loans about a year and half ago took a couple months off – then bought back in with $480 dollars when bitcoin hit $160… with your trading and motivational videos, I was able to trade that $480 all the way up to about $50,000.”

Out of the hundreds of alternative cryptocurrencies that have been created since Bitcoin’s inception in 2009, Factom is one of the few coins that is trying to innovate and add value over just copying Bitcoin.

PTW 042: Should You Go To College? (And 5 Alternatives)
19/02/2016 Duração: 28minIn this episode, I’m answering the challenging question… Should you go to college? This is one of the biggest decisions many people will make in their lives. And many people end up following a path out of obligation or blindly chasing money. I feel uniquely qualified to talk about this since I explored many options and took an alternative path to finding my own success. Despite barely graduating high school and dropping out of community college my first year, I’m a huge advocate for education. I got a front-row view of the traditional path... I hustled my way into a corporate job that required a business degree, build a big house, and had the nice cars... All without going to college. And you know what? It sucked. Even though I was making good money, it left me unfulfilled. Thankfully, I was able to “test” out that role in my late teens and figure out that path wasn’t for me. I would have felt terrible had I wasted 4+ years in college only to find out I was on a path of being unfulfilled.

10/02/2016 Duração: 36minIf you've read my story, then you know I started day trading the stock market when I was in high school. At the ripe age of 16, I was working for a mortgage company when Jim sat me down and made about $2,000 in less than half an hour. I was blown away! "You mean all I have to do is sit down, click a few buttons, and watch the money come pouring in!?" I thought making money trading was the easiest pathway to wealth, and quickly opened a trading account... Then reality hit me. After making $100 on my first trade, I lost my entire $5,000 account in less than two weeks. What went wrong? Why did I lose? That humbling experience would set me on a life-long journey to understand and try to "master" the stock market. And in this episode of Pathways To Wealth, I'm showing you the top 15 lessons I've learned about trading since I first started 15 years ago...
