Eric C. Gould Spanish Expressions For Photographers
15/03/2017 Duração: 04minThe question of the day: Do you need to speak Spanish to get great photos in Cuba. Absolutely not. I have found that by making eye contact with my subject, pointing with my hand to my camera and asking “OK" while nodding my head with affirmation is all that is needed. That said I believe knowing a few Spanish words or expressions does not hurt. So, please see below. The English expression is followed by the Spanish. There’s an audio version and written one too. Maybe load the audio on to your mobile phone for some down time listening on your flight over to Havana. However, do not feel obligated to know even one Spanish word - a smile and a nod of the head goes very far.

New Barcode Replacement. Tracks Food and Drug Authenticity, Safety, and Origin.
23/02/2015 Duração: 22minA startup called DNATrek is creating a solution to address the food traceability market; its DNATrax technology literally makes it possible to trace items like food products through the supply chain. This is crucial for both validating the quality and authenticity of premium products, as well as performing diagnosis and damage control in emergency scenarios such as widespread poisoning or disease outbreaks. Originally developed at Lawrence Livermore Labs as a mechanism for enhancing the country’s bio-defense and bio-detection capabilities, the technology that became DNATrax was licensed to DNATrek founder/CEO Anthony Zografos for commercialization in key markets—namely, agriculture, health care, and food industries, to mention a few. The latter holds the most opportunity for the technology, as the food traceability market alone is estimated to be a 14 billion dollar market.
