The marketing world keeps telling us through commercials we ought to be discontent and we are only one step away from contentment. They may be right, God designed us to have dissatisfaction but there can be no satisfaction except that God loves us

Like those with infectious skin diseases under the old law we still avoid touching the spiritually unclean, but not Jesus. Jesus touched those that were unclean both physically and spiritually. He healed them. If we refuse to also touch and heal, through Jesus, those that are spiritually unclean it could lead to the worst sin of all - self-righteousness. God is the God of the untouchables; He will not pass you by. Mark 9, Leviticus 13

Like well used rag dolls we are all ragged and flawed by our environment and choices, but God loves us ragged and flawed. Christ reconstructs us through the cross and we are loved enough to be made like brand new. 1. Love is for that which it loves; 2. Love delights in the one being loved; 3. Under conditions we could not bear, Jesus was born to Mary. The Bible remembers that Mary kept her thoughts in her heart; but one has to wonder if Mary knew the impact Jesus would have on the world. The child she bore would one day bear her.
