(Mark 6:1-6) In todays passage of Mark's Gospel we encounter a bit of an awkward homecoming for Jesus. He returns to his hometown and amazement from those who knew Him growing up, only for that amazement to sour into offence. What is going on in this passage? Why doesn't it seem to fit with what we know of Mark's Gospel? Join us today as Gavin unpacks and explores why this event is part of Mark's Good News of Jesus, and what it means for us.

(Psalm 20) Tonight as Katherine picks up our series on Psalms to Remember, an opportunity to look at psalms that are meaningful to the speaker, Kat takes the time to reflect on the words on Psalm 20. A Psalm that invites us to be reminded of the power of our words - and the ways in which we can choose to speak blessing over the people around us.

(2 Timothy 3:16-17; Hebrews 4:12-13 & Deuteronomy 6:4-9) As Iain continues our series on Spiritual Disciplines today we come to 2 that most people have experienced; Bible Study and Memorisation. And yet, while these are disciplines that people engage with early on in their Christian walk - they can sometimes lead to guilt. I should be doing this more! Today we seek to pare these disciplines back to the core of what they are and why we do it.

(Romans 14:1-23) In today's passage we come to a very famous part of Paul's letter to the Romans - about Weak and Strong faith. Unfortunately these terms can lead us to have a bit of a skewed perspective as to what Paul is talking about here. Join us as Gavin shares and unpacks what Paul is talking about, and what we can learn about how to deal with diversity amongst the Church.

(Acts 16:6-15) As we pick up our Spiritual Disciplines series again we have Tim Piesse joining us via Zoom to discuss the disciple of disciple-making. Tim Piesse is the National Director of Building A Discipling Culture and today unpacks some lessons about how we can disciple others from Paul's example in Acts 16. *Please note that there are a couple of minutes of sound lost in the middle of the message*

(Romans 12:9-21) Philip continues our series on the deep truths of Romans with a passage that seems quite different from what has been seen earlier in this letter to the Romans. In today's passage we encounter various short statements helping to provide an image of what it looks like for love to be demonstrated in action.

(Mark 5:21-24; 35-43) As Gavin continues our journey looking at the Works, Words and Ways of Jesus we encounter 2 daughter stories. The story of Jairus the Synagogue leader's daughter, and the bleeding woman whom Jesus welcomes in and calls daughter. Today we focus on the hope that Jesus gives to Jairus in a time when he feels his story is ended. Join us today as Gavin unpacks the truth from Jesus that your story isn't done and that God resurrects!

(Romans 13:1-14) In today's passage from Romans Paul talks about an uncomfortable idea - he encourages us to submit to the governing authorities. Not just when it feels nice to, but even when it is hard! What is this idea about? Join us as Gavin unpacks what submission is NOT, but also what submission is.

(Mark 5:1-20) As we continue our journey through Mark's Gospel looking at the Works, Words and Ways of Jesus we encounter a situation where Jesus is not afraid to reach out to him in love. Today, Gordon unpacks what it looks like to conquer fear.

(Romans 12:3-8) Today as Iain continues our journey through the book of Romans with chapter 12 verses 3-8; Paul is bringing the threads of Romans together by reminding the Church that they are called to be unified! Yet it is not enough to just say you are unified; instead it is something you have to do and work towards. In this passage Paul provides some understanding about what it looks like and means to work towards unity.

(Mark 4:36-41) As Jesus finishes teaching the crowds about the Kingdom of God, He invites His disciples to go with Him across the Sea of Galilee to the other side to continue His ministry. While everything seems fine to begin with, soon a storm emerges. How do you react in the middle of a storm? Do you panic, stress and blame God? Or do you have peace in the middle of the storm? Join us today as Iain looks at Jesus' reaction in the storm, and what we can learn. *Please note, due to School Holidays there is NO Home Group Discussion guide this week*

(Romans 12:1-2) As we continue our journey through the book of Romans, Mike takes the opportunity to look at a strange phrase that Paul uses - A Living Sacrifice. While it seems like a contradiction of terms, Mike unpacks what this means and the hope that comes from this.

(Mark 4:26-34) Today as we continue our journey through Mark's Gospel we encounter 2 parables that Jesus tells to help describe the Kingdom of God. Both of these parables take the opportunity to highlight the idea that from small acts, big things can grow. Join us as Iain unpacks some lessons that we can learn about God's Kingdom from these examples that Jesus provided.

(Romans 9-11) As we continue our journey through the deep truths found in the book of Romans we encounter chapters 9-11 where Paul is unpacking a similar idea to the Jewish Christians, and also us. Join us as Gavin unpacks what Paul's warnings around misdirected zeal looks like for the Jewish Christians, and for us today.

(Mark 4:1-25) As Megan continues our series on Mark looking at the Words, Ways and Works of Jesus we encounter an example of Jesus using parables to teach the people. While the parable is important by itself, Mark takes the opportunity to share Jesus' words about why he teaches in this way. Join us today as we look at what we can learn about Listening Deeply, and sharing effectively to Good News of God's Kingdom.

(Romans 8:28-39) Join us tonight as Iain unpacks some incredibly famous verses from Romans 8 that help remind us of the hope we have in Jesus. In Romans 8 Paul reminds us that God is actively at work for our good in all the circumstances of life. Whether they are good, bad or just ordinary. We then take the opportunity to look at the end of Romans chapter and see 3 ways in which God is working for our good.

(Jonah 4) As we come to the end of the book of Jonah, Gavin takes the time today to celebrate that this book is part of our Scripture as it encourages us to take a look at the way we respond to God's character. Today we see a conversation between Jonah and God as they consider the Ninevites who have repented and Jonah's response to this news is... underwhelming. Join us as Gavin unpacks the 3 questions that God asks Jonah, and that we need to reflect on ourselves.

(Jonah 3) Who is God, and what is He like? The answers to these questions affect the way in which we view the world and the way in which we go about life. Today Simon Duke is taking us through Jonah chapter 3 and we get a chance to see God's heart at work, and learn some important lessons about what that means for us.

(Jonah 2) Today Gavin and Tim take the opportunity to theologically reflect on Jonah's response in Jonah chapter 2. Here we see Jonah expressing some deep and incredible emotions in his desperate situation. These emotions can sometimes make us feel uncomfortable, and yet learning how to care for and support others through these emotions is an important part of helping to be Jesus to the people around us.
