Godliness is a given (v. 6a). Contentment is possible (vv. 6-8). Goals can yield gain or grief (vv. 9-10).

The Gospel has a singular message. The Gospel has life-changing implications. The world distorts, distracts, and deceives.

The Body of Christ has God-ordained structure (vv. 17-18). Examination is relative to responsibility (vv. 19-22). We will ultimately be examined by Christ (vv. 23-25).

We are one family in Christ (vv. 1-2). We are to give loving care to one another (v. 3) We glorify God in family faithfulness (vv. 4-8).

We can incarnate Christ. We can know and use our gifts. We can influence for God's glory.

We are part of God's household (vv. 14-15a). We are to contend for the truth (v. 15b). We have a mission in this world (v. 16).

Deacons are to be found trustworthy (vv. 8-10). Deacons must know, believe, and live the Gospel (v. 9). Women are vital to the deacon ministry (vv. 11-12). Deacons are positioned for Kingdom greatness (v. 13).

Elders serve in a noble work (v. 1). Elders must be consecrated (vv. 2-5). Elders will undergo scrutiny (vv. 6-7).

We all submit to a sovereign God (v. 8). We are all prone to self-promotion (vv. 9-10). We have God ordained roles and responsibilities (vv. 11-15).

We were appointed to salvation (v. 12). Christ Jesus saves sinners (vv. 13-15). God does all for His glory (vv. 16-17).

Deceptions and distractions abound (vv. 3-4a). God's people walk by faith (v. 4b). The ministry must be goal driven (v. 5).

He/We long for eternal communion. He/We long for complete knowledge. He/We long for total reconciliation.

We are part of an unbroken chain - v. 20 We are one in the Spirit - vv. 21-23 God's glory shines through us - vv. 22-23

The Lord desires... His disciples experience His joy - v. 13. His disciples find life in Him - vv. 14-16. His disciples know and share the truth - vv. 17-19.

The Father has glorified the Son. The Son glorifies the Father. We have been saved to glorify God.

The Spirit empowers. The Spirit guides. The Spirit glorifies the Son.

The Spirit was sent by the Son. The Spirit is convicting the world of.... a. Sin b. Righteousness c. Judgment

We abide through consecration. We have joy in God's will. We love through joyful sacrifice. We rejoice in His unspeakable grace.

Christ is the true Vine. The Father is watching and working. We bear fruit for His glory.
