Culture happens either by default or by design.  Here at Forward Church we want to be intentional about the kind of culture we are letting in our homes and our church. We discuss the importance of culture in this new collection of talks titled “CULTURE CARRIERS”

Choosing our relationships carefully is vital to staying healthy. God doesn’t just call us to nurture and initiate meaningful relationships, His Word also tells us to stay away from harmful relationships and to restore our broken ones.

The Lord’s Prayer in Mathew 6:9–13 walks us through howto pray. The Lord’s Prayer is not the only way to pray, but it does provide a guideline for how we can pray effectively.

The Bible is God’s Word. It’s His voice, constant and unchanging, speaking to a culture and a world that is always moving fast. Sometimes, it may seem impossible in the middle of your busy schedule to make time for God. Here’s the good news: holding on to God’s Word is not as hard as you think.

H E A V E N is a real place! It is also the right place, where evil is absent and there is no more sorrow. Heaven is a relational and rewarding place. God created mankind to be His family, and in Heaven, we will live in perfect relationship with one another and with God.

The Holy Spirit is our guide, our teacher, and our friend. The Holy Spirit lives within us, a source of power and comfort who guides and directs us on the journey to live a life of purpose, submitted to God.

Some of us view God as living behind a locked gate where He can’t be reached. Others think of getting to God like scaling an endless ladder, where we strain to climb and climb but never really reach the top. God’s Word says He is near to us and not remote. All God asks from us is to believe in Jesus and live in light of that redemption. The truth is that God offers Himself as a free gift to all through Jesus. With that in mind, how can we share this free gift with others? In this message we will explore the best way to share Jesus.

Many of us have some confusion about our spiritual identity. In this message we will be asking the question “Who Are We?"

Who is God, and how can we live in relationship with Him? In this sermon we learn that God is a Father who loves us. He is a Son who rescued us, and Holy Spirit who lives in us.

Fasting is a choice, but it is also obedience. In Matthew 6, Jesus talks about three duties of every Christian: giving, praying and fasting. And He doesn’t use the word if, He uses the word when. You could choose not to fast this year, but why would you? Why would you choose to stay where you are when God has so much more for you? 

We run away from authority because we don't like other people having power over us we don't like to be dominated. But in this message, we learn that authority is not about domination, but protection. And only by living under authority can we learn to lead others effectively and discover God, best for our lives.

Light is everywhere. But it's typically only in the dark that we acknowledge the true power and meaning of light in and for our lives. In this special Christmas message, as we remember the birth of Jesus, we must remember the significance of the light that God has shone into all of our lives a Light that will never fade into the dark.
