The Forty-Year Cold Case of Lesley Larkin
20/12/2024 Duração: 31minAt about 12:30pm on the 9th of November,1984, Lesley Larkin was found lying naked and unconscious across a mattress in her unit in Noosa Heads.She had suffered a severe head injury, and would later pass away in hospital. Lesley was a beloved member of her community, and last month signalled 40 years since her murder. Despite more than 150 interviews conducted at the time, the motive for this crime has never been determined. No signs of robbery, no evidence of sexual assault, and no apparent forced entry. He was sentenced to 15 years, which is the longest sentence ever handed down to a minor in Queensland, but he could be released after serving nine and a half years.
