Malachi - God's Messenger.

The Blood of Jesus Christ, God's Son cleanseth us from all sin. What can was away my sin? Nothing but the Blood of Jesus, What can make me whole again? Nothing but the blood of Jesus. O precious is the flow, That me white as snow. No other fount I know, Nothing but the Blood of Jesus.

When the father of John the Baptist was in the Temple the angel Gabriel appeared and gave him a prophecy: 16 And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God. 17 And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias (Elijah), to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord. Luke 1:16-18

For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest, And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heard intreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more:............ ..........But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant,

The reason for writing this book was to rebuke the returned exiles of their many sins. They were to rebuild their nation following their 70 years in Babylon but sadly still rejected God One would have assumed that they would now be ready and truly determined that from now on they would seek to work for God in following the Law of Moses in this sinful world. To avoid contact with the nations round about them and re-set up a nation for God as was God’s original task for Israel and that all nations would be blessed through them. But we see in Malachi that these people were still sinful and rebellious.

Trust in the Lord and don't despair, He is a Friend so True, No matters what your troubles are, Jesus will see you through, Trust when the day is bright, Trust in the darkest night, Every day, All the way, He'll be there with you. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart: and lean not unto thine own understanding. IN ALL THY WAYS ACKNOWLEDGE HIM, and He shall direct thy paths. Pr0verbs 3. 5/6. ....that whosoever believeth in Him! Read John 3.16-18

We must learn to walk humbly and worthily before God as Ambassadors for Our Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ, in a sinful lost world. A world whose only hope is through faith and trust in Jesus. What the world needs is Jesus, just a glimpse of Him, He will bring joy and gladness, Take away sin and sadness, What the world needs is Jesus, just a glimpse of Him, Do they see Jesus in me?

Believers: "We must all stand before the Judgement Seat of Christ".

Books are written for many reasons: recording history, biographies, laws, court sentences. The Bible says that my life as a Christian is being written before God. Some day all christians must attend the Judgement Seat of Christ. My salvation will not be questioned but my life as an Ambassador for Christ will be examined and judged. What will my book reveal and how will this be reflected in my eternity in Glory? The sound on this tape is terrible. We have had a problem transferring it from a cassette tape but nevertheless we hope you will understand our problem and be able to hear enough for you to enjoy the message.

The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. Matthew 3.3.

Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doth evil is good in the sight of the Lord, and he delighted in them; or Where is the God of judgement.

For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding weight of glory. 2 Corinthians 4.17. Ye have not kept my ways, but have been partial in the law. Malachi 2.9

Wherein hast Thou loved us? What an amazing question to ask of a God of Love who sent His beloved Son to die by the hands of his creation for the sin of man. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. John 3.16
