The Table Austin

As we begin Chapter 2 of Philippians today, I want to let you know how much we miss you! This text and the accompanying sermon are focused on the strength of The Table’s third core value, a community of friends. 

How are we to act? More accurately, how then are we to live as Christ-followers? That’s where we pick up our “Joy Invincible” series through Philippians today as we cover 1:27-30.

We're looking at possibly the most popular verse in Philippians! Most of you will have heard these words many, many times but I want to challenge to approach our text and our time in worship with a freshness and expectation that might have started to grow stale in this shelter-in-place time. God is still ready and excited to meet with you, no matter where you are!

As we continue our “Joy Invincible” series through the joyful book of Philippians, Paul has a singular focus that is both encouraging and challenging as we examine the own ways we follow Christ.

We are diving into the Book of Philippians, which encouraged a worried church, to combat false teaching, and to thank them for being generous with one another in the midst of great distress.
