This verdict comes after a rigorous six-week trial in New York, where the jury deliberated for less than two days before reaching their decision. In a significant move, the United Kingdom and Australia have signed a new defense pact to facilitate collaboration between their defense forces. The treaty, signed on March 21, 2024, comes at a crucial time for global defense cooperation. The new pact strengthens Australia's relationship with the UK, who will contribute to a submarine rotational force and an intelligence center in the country. Australia has also joined an international drone coalition led by the UK and Latvia to support Ukraine's war efforts.

The biggest take away for me from these images is that the DPRK intends to use human wave attacks, per their Korean War doctrine. The images from this exercise show a clear lack of command and control, indicating that on the battlefield, it's every man for himself. These DPRK airborne troops don't seem to be an effective fighting force at all. Each day, the Ukrainian side releases propaganda videos showing the battlefield murder of Russian soldiers who are hors de combat. This is a French term meaning "out of the fight." It is used in military and international law to describe soldiers or combatants who are no longer able to participate in combat due to injury, surrender, or detention.Such individuals are entitled to certain protections according to the laws of war, meaning they cannot be attacked or targeted as they are no longer considered a threat. Every day, I see videos showing Ukrainian soldiers breaking the Laws of Armed Conflict. Why aren't these people held to the same standards as Western armies?
