So I asked, High school US History teacher Aaron to talk about Critical Race Theory. We talk about what it is/isn't, should it be taught, and what age levels. We also discuss why conservatives are against it being taught while Republicans are running elections currently on keeping it "out of the classroom." With the long racist history that the US has had, we talk about some of the things we've learned growing up, what was accurate, the truths that students should be learning at age appropriate levels, and the role of an educator teaching history in school.
