  • 004 TFL Fargo Police Officer Dirk Thiedeman

    09/05/2018 Duração: 42min

Please welcome Fargo Police Officer Dirk Thiedeman. I can honestly say Dirk is one of the nicest people I have ever met and it is not a surprise to me that he chose a career in which he serves and protects people he doesn’t even know. Dirk became a Fargo police officer a few years ago and very shortly after that Officer Moszer was killed in the line of duty and it rocked the entire City of Fargo, even the state. We talk about that in our conversation as well as lighter things like stuff I’ve always wanted to know about police officers: What’s a beat? How did you pick such a scary career? How the heck do you stay in shape for this kinda stuff? Is police station coffee awful? It was an honor to sit down and chat with Dirk and I’m proud to be friends with him. He is definitely one of Fargo’s finest and do me a favor and visit him on social media ( @diggy197 ) and thank him for his service. He works hard on and off-duty to protect us! Enjoy! • 003 Training For Lyfe Brandon Zylstra

    29/04/2018 Duração: 01h24min

Welcome to one of the most awesome conversations I’ve had around my dinner table, ever. With newly signed MINNESOTA VIKINGS receiver Brandon Zylstra and his college football coach Aaron Willits. We talked about a ton of stuff including how Brandon worked his way up through the ranks, fighting against circumstances that would discourage most people from even starting. One thing you’ll learn about Brandon from our conversation is his mindset. Obstacles don’t deter him, they motivate him. Setbacks don’t discourage him, they teach him. And opportunity doesn’t scare him, it excites him. Zylstra is the modern day embodiment of Dale Carnegie in that he does not criticize, condemn or complain. It’s like fighting from the bottom brings him vigor and vitality and he is *grateful* for the struggle. Every day is a new chance to prove himself. Find him on Instagram: @brandonzylstra
