Act 1: At first glance it is easy to think things are out of control. The earth and everything in it seems to be sinking fast. However, God is in control. This week we'ill see how these events were prophesied and fall perfectly in His plan. Just like a great first act it will build tension and leave us with something hardly anyone saw coming.

Our attention can easily be captured by the 24 hour news cycle. We can be consumed by fear and uncertainty while staying focused on the media. In Revelation Chapter 1, John writes to the local churches to draw our attention to something far more important.

Prophecy and the Book of Revelation is full of mysterious personalities. Knowing who the characters are will help us understand the plot.

This is the final weekend of our series of messages called Questions from COVID-19. We started out looking at some of the things that surfaced as a result of a global pandemic but have switched to answering some important questions in light of all that is going on in our nation over the past few week. The bible, in Romans 13, offers a great overlay to what our response should be as citizens, Christians, employees, and even family members.

Our world seems to be increasing filled with fear, anger, hatred, and division. How do we as Christians respond those we disagree with or maybe even don’t really like at times? Today’s sermon will help us have the right perspective and response to the people in our lives. 

In the past two months life as we know it has been put on pause. Our normal schedules, routines, and habits have been interrupted. While we can’t know exactly when things will be normal again we can take comfort in the fact that pauses used by God, throughout scripture, were used to accomplish incredibly important things.
