Eventually, his love and passion for this dance also led him to train to become one of the first certified bachata sensual instructors in the United States. (Isabel graduated from Duke University in 2010 with a bachelors degree in International Comparative Studies with a concentration in Latin America and a Certificate in Global Health). By early 2007, Isabel had earned a spot on the Cobo Brothers Dance Company professional team, a well-known salsa dance company based out of North Carolina.
