Joe's Thoughts

The pre-story concludes with yet another "technical" setback to my career move away from the enterprise tech world, along with several "dark storm clouds" converging all at the same time in the summer of 2014. I'm forced to take a hard look at where things are and make some tough choices. The real story begins on the next episode, after a short break for something new called "Joe's Thoughts Today". I continue my podcast story from 2008/2009 to about 2013 in this episode, and discuss how QTalk America, the LGBT talk radio network, got its start. While QTalk America ultimately didn't turn into the smash-hit success that I had hoped it would, it positively affected many people's lives, and is still in operation today under different management. Going from a thriving business to "dead stop" in a matter of months because of the "Great Recession" was not an experience I ever want to repeat, especially the resulting life upheaval that I, and many others, ultimately went through. Thankfully there was a light at the end of the tunnel, and it wasn't an oncoming train.
