In this episode, we look back fondly at Teekay Offshore as part of our history and wave a teary-eyed goodbye to our friends who will soon to become Altera Infrastructure.  With the selling of our remaining interest in Teekay Offshore to Brookfield last April 2019, Teekay Offshore legally became a separate entity from Teekay. However, last week's announcement of their new business name signifies the next step in the separation of the two entities. This quarter our learning opportunities are focusing on the theme of Do the Right Thing.  Reminding us to be mindful of how we earn the trust of others and stand up for what we believe in. In the last episode of the podcast, we were up in the Far North investigating the development and operations of the Yamal LNG project and how Teekay is involved. Episode 3 brings some more “wow effect.” We clamber back aboard our Arc7 LNG carriers to find out what life at sea is like when the sea is not water, but ice. The Yamal LNG project in Northern Russia has been a massive undertaking. The cargos delivered by Teekay and other partners are a key component of the global energy supply chain. We discuss the work required to prepare for such a project - dealing with life on, in and through the ice.
