John and Sarah apologize profusely for the unmitigated nonsense that they previously uploaded as episode 19.  They promise to be slightly less inebriated and slightly more coherent.  Scout's honor.In this episode, they discuss the concept of novelty and its virtues as well as Malort and Sloppy Joe's Cocktail Manual circa 1932.  They drink two different Boulevardiers with different amari (Campari and Luxardo bitter) and discuss their various merits and flaws. The game deals with that sly rascal, Sloppy Joe. 

John and Sarah drink a concoction known as a 50/50 - begun as a beverage served by bartenders to other folks in the industry and now coming down to us common people.  Delicious.  Sarah reveals the somewhat embarrassing route that landed her in Whiskeytown.  

John and Sarah talk about Manhattans made with Chambord and also about those made using normal ingredients. Not just the title of the best Portishead song of the 90s - also a description of the drinks John and Sarah are exploring tonight: whiskey sours! We'll have a normal sour and a New York Sour and talk about what it could possibly be like. Bourbon. Lemon juice. Sometimes egg white.  Also, we play a game. We're going to start posting our recipes here like we're legit or something:Whiskey Sour:2 oz bourbon.75 oz lemon.5 oz Demerara syrup1 egg whiteDry shake all ingredients until egg white is very foamy. Add ice, then shake 12 more seconds. Serve in coupe with lemon twist as garnish. New York Sour:2 oz bourbon.75 lemon.5 Demerara syrup1 oz red wine (Shiraz)Shake all but the wine 12 secs, pour into rocks glass with large ice cube. Float red wine on top to finish. No garnish.

John and Sarah introduce a new segment: games! Exquisite Corpse Reviver is fun for the whole family. Or at least your drunk friends. Also, we're working on the levels thing. We got a second mic and this schmack is confusing. We also drink some cocktails with equal proportions.
