    17/06/2020 Duração: 01h02min

LIVE Wednesday @ 4:00 pm Pacific It's the Boze Noze Show! The Board of Commissioners voted unanimously to pass a resolution in support of Black Lives Matter. I will explain why I made the motion and why people need to understand the movement. At the same meeting we had a public hearing on our budget and someone must have sent out a mass email to young BLM supporters to testify that we, the Lane County Board, should cut the budget for the Eugene police department by 30% to fund CAHOOTS. I will have a lot to say about our public safety budget and this irrational call to defund police services. Call in and let me know how Phase Two is working for you or any other topic you want to discuss. The Boze Noze Show is live at 4:00 pm Pacific on Wednesdays. • Tiny Houses and is it time to re-open?

    29/04/2020 Duração: 01h01min

Live Wednesday at 4pm PT – recently the Lane County commissioners voted 4-1 to approve the first reading of a new ordinance to require motels and hotels to take vouchers to house people in need of isolation well as it turns out, Lane County Public Health no longer needs the hotels and motels thanks to Sponsors Inc. a nonprofit for people leaving prison is providing as many as ten tiny houses provided the county manages the people who need to be housed and the houses are cleaned up when the homes are no longer needed. Also on today's program… COVID-19 numbers as of April 26, 2020, 25 of 36 counties have had zero deaths. The 2 deaths and 48 of 50 cases in Lane County were in the Eugene-Springfield metro area. Just 2 cases were located outside in the rest of Lane County and therefore the chances are that zero cases were "Confirmed" in coastal Lane County but testing is so limited that there have probably unconfirmed cases all over. It does seem that the coast has been relatively unscathed and that reopening sho

  • Forcing hotels to take homeless COVID-19 patients

    22/04/2020 Duração: 59min

In a 4-1 Lane County commissioners voted to approve the first reading of ordinance 20-03 with the second reading scheduled for May 5 of an ordinance to require hotels and motels to accept government vouchers for people who are subject to homeless people who are subject to quarantine. West Lane County Commissioner Jay Bozievich (and host of KRBN Internet News Talk Radio) was the only "no" vote.  It should be noted that many local hotels and motels have refused to accept these patients for obvious reasons. Plus - Jay was on the KXL's Lars Larson Show today talking about this issue. What are your thoughts on this, give us a call today April 22, 2020 at 4 PM Pacific at 646-721-9887 and don't forget to follow us on Facebook. • TimberUnity Rally in Salem!

    13/02/2020 Duração: 01h01min

LIVE! TODAY @ 4:00 pm Pacific It's the Boze Noze Show! What a great #TimberUnity Rally in Salem! I will have a full report. Monday I spent the day in Salem at the Association of Oregon Counties legislative meetings. In that meeting, Chair Buch showed just how much she is in the pocket of AFSCME. That evening I attended a Veneta City Council work session on a proposal to share the cost of adding a School Resource Officer to the Fern Ridge School District.
