    20/06/2023 Duração: 41min

Time stamps and questions below; Time; 00:10 I feel very confident about getting in 121 clients partly because I know 100% I have got people results with it, how can I have that same confidence in selling my online coaching without necessarily having the same history of success with it? Time; 5:37 how would you convey your messaging / marketing on the gym floor? seems everyone whos busy has no structure, market ect but able to get 40 sessions a week Time; 11:45 Oi Oi you tarts! Two fold question. When you are at the point of capacity, what would you hone in on to 1) Ensure the service continues moving forward and 2) Ensure this point is sustained for as long as realistically possible? Time; 14:38 People find my website looking for private yoga classes. They are not looking for coaching. Would it then make sense to amend the copy on my website and "tone down" the coaching aspect of my work, and address it more during the consultation if it appears to be relevant to the client? Time; 1

LISTEN TO THE END OF TH EPODCAST FOR SOMETHING SPECIAL! Time: 00:24 I feel like I am really gonna struggle to shut off from work as I am away, how can I detach myself from work without feeling that I have no control over my business and avoid checking my phone every 10 mins Time: 3:28 A parent has enquired about me helping their teenage son (15) to get fit for the new rugby season. They have tried a few coaches but none have agreed. I feel like I could help them but i'm not sure what would be required from a qualification/insurance perspective? As it's not a demographic i've worked with before do you think it's best to find a coach that's more experienced and refer? Time: 6:36 How do you price things if everything is individual? Time: 9:04 How do I know what topics to cover in a new client onboarding email series? Time: 11:45 How to get better at asking the right questions for the client? Time: 14:36 I've just been thinking about my marketing over summer and I ha

Questions and time stamps below. Time; 4:40 What are the signs you need to put your foot on the brake, take a step back and reevaluate your approach to work? Time; 12:17 Best way to be honest when client isn't on it with their nutrition Time; 15:47 I don't work at the gym I PT out of so i'm only around the gym floor when coaching clients or training myself. Should my marketing approach be different because of this? Time; 17:13 Price points for existing clients moving online Time; 21:55 Would you give clients a set day they have to complete a check in or would you recommend this be by a set time? For example, they receive a link with the check in attached on a Saturday morning and they must have submitted this by 8am Monday; or they have to complete their check in on Friday each week Time; 25:15 More seriously: I take in clients anytime, but I'd like to introduce "launches" to drive people to action. But I don't want to lie about it and pretend I'm only a

Our weekly Q&A session for the PTMA coaches. some belting questions this week. Time stamps for questions below :-) Time : 00:24 Have you got any advice on getting tax returns after self assessments and how it all works? Time : 7:08 When you're a fully self employed rent paying PT, how much control/influence can a gym have in terms of what you offer, what you sell etc? Or what would be reasonable? I'm talking strictly your Coaching services, not sex toys, gimp masks and all that. Time : 9:19 I wouldn't mind some general advice about how to make the check in process more optimised/smooth. Down to the basics because I've never been to PT school Time : 13:47 how to build confidence in a product (and not fixating on things being perfect first time) Time : 16:22 I find it hard to get specific goals from people in consultations A lot of the time, people have a goal in mind (of weight loss or muscle gain), but turning that into something measurable is something I really str

    23/05/2023 Duração: 37min

Time stamp and questions from this weeks Q&A; Time : 1:03 I've got a couple of ongoing enquiries for SGPT, 1 for a group of 3 (seeing them on Wednesday), one for a pair (currently chatting over WhatsApp). My concern is ensuring each person is brought into the programme 100% as an individual and not having a situation where if 1 can't come, the other can't and all that shit. Best way to ensure each person is fully invested as an individual? Time : 5:32 I want to open a 6:45am boxing class, what would you recommend I do to fill that quickly as I can’t start it until I have enough people signed up? Time : 8:22 How to encourage clients to leave a review on Google/Facebook? Time : 10:42 What's the best way for me to help hold myself accountable for tasks (excluding time managment)? Time : 12;45 do you have any tips for coaches wanting to expand there business and scale while staying align with there values? Time : 18:40 online coaches, how do you contiue to grow your pres

How would you reach out to find your dream clients How to approach the conversations I'm having to turn them into leads? I'm usually trying to just be curious about their goals etc. but conscious that this fizzles out a bit, maybe send them something to sign up to email list if a coaching enquiry isn't quite where the conversation is going? I might of asked this before, any recommendations for course providers who cover Strength & Conditioning? Nothing deep like a Uni, just Level 3-4 type stuff. Cheers. Best way to respond for price list question in Instagram DM’s How would you set up a mobility/abs/glutes/deadlift/rate my form/etc kinda station on the gym floor? Would you advertise it in advance? Or just do it in an ad hoc fashion? I'd like to improve my check-in process because I can tell that my clients have different ways of communicating, but I want to make sure it stays structured and not too time consuming on my side. How would you organise the check-in feedback process,

  • Live Q&A Check in No.100

    10/05/2023 Duração: 27min

How to action client feedback? Whats your opinions on having a narrow niche in a gym environment like you'd do online? How to stay positive when theres a lack of enquires? 1) I am wanting to open up more 1-1 spaces but don't want my work hours to be all over the place. Have you got any advice on how to keep your 1-1 hours organised and close together? I don't mind having the odd gap between clients but don't want them being hours apart. 2) Do you have any thoughts on PTs having a 90 day offer for 1-1 coaching? I think it would make it easier to sell since the client knows they have a start-end date, but I know most people will also need support beyond 90 days, any thoughts. Cheers

    03/05/2023 Duração: 35min

I don't have kids, but I have a few clients who have them. They have challenges that I can't imagine and I'm not sure how to help them with that sometimes. If they say they have been too busy to look after themselves at all, I don't wanna challenge them on that and sound like a prick. I know it comes down to asking the right questions, but I was wondering if you have any advice. Can you explain creating training templates in a bit more detail please What one bit of advice do you give out the most in the academy but wish someone gave to you when you started PT? (Hope that makes sense) How do you know when you've had a successful week if you are process focused not solely on goals? Where do you draw the line between wanting to do your best to help or go out of your way for someone and not selling yourself short or making life harder for yourself?

    25/04/2023 Duração: 17min

I want to do some public speaking type of activities locally to raise awareness and help people for free. It would be based around fat loss and showing people that they should prioritise their health in an enjoyable way. How ould you approach this and is there any tips/advice you can give to help me make this a great opportunity to deliver tons of value and very well-known in my town? how to overcome the fear of asking people to spread awareness - including referral sides Tell us a sneaky bit of what you have planned for the July Piss Up, I mean Conference... creating a group program, what would be the most effective way of delivering this as contact free as possible with the idea of being present? When releasing lead magnet, shall I also grab the persons insta name so I can send a personal message? Or stick to email series? All the questions I have I know are in the course content. It’s a case of me actually doing it and applying it, but I don’t know how to create anything marketing or niche-y or

What would you offer local HCP to work along side you in a collaboration to boost SM interaction and referrals Feels like there is a need to track a lot of stuff these days. In terms of time available, would you say it's OK to be selective on what you track in the now and how would you make that choice? Cheers you pair of Brad Pitts. Im looking for ways grow my group training sessions- add in more group sessions, instead of having 2 groups of 8 people maybe have smaller groups but more of them Best way to check back in/re-engage members that you have spoken to, got numbers for and want to show value for again. General check up message vs lead magnet vs offering time for a health check up or for advice? Any suggestions? Long one but - The lady to won my 6 weeks of coaching competition has said she wants to continue past that point, but mentioned she was thinking about having a session once every 2 weeks. I know she needs more than that at least in the initial stages as she wants to get confident i

Cold calling/messaging is something I’m not use to or comfortable with Do you have any advice on building confidence and putting together a system to track? I am thinking of running ads to promote my boxing classes, but I dont know whether its worth it because I would be advertising to people that arent a member at my gym. This could be a positive but also a negative. What do you think I should do? Do you think we should have at least one lead magnet of each type (awareness/consideration/decision)? And what kind of impact does the type of the lead magnet have on our marketing once the prospect has signed up for it? For example, would you use different CTAs depending on if the prospect is listening to our podcast or if they've joined our accountability group? - Different approaches for nurturing direct vs indirect leads. e.g. how to approach/when to be direct with a regular class members vs someone who signed up for a free health check for instance. Would you be inclined to offer PT earlier to one o

Any valuable lessons from owning your own gyms/studios in the past? What alternative would you use for a client that "doesn't do apps"? Taking on an older client who isn't needing to do any sessions away from me to start with/use the app anyway, just record the sessions down in a google sheet instead? What sort of money would you recommend spending on Facebook ads if we are looking to direct people to trial out my boxing programme? I'm gonna be greedy and ask two (because I didn't ask any last week! 1. Any advice on how to stop doubting your ability as a coach when clients aren't ready to change and don't really make much progress? And, kinda following on from that, you guys talk about carrying out multiple consultations with a lead to learn enough about them and make sure they're ready to change...I'm having a hard time getting my head around the idea. What would that look like in practice? What would you go through in each conversation? How would you explain

Looking back on your careers, what would you do differently? Should you be friends with your clients or keep things professional? Do you have advice/tips about how to keep a beginner's mind? I realise that I sometimes struggle to put myself in my clients' shoes and remember how it felt to start. In particular, I make things overly complicated because I don't want my sessions to be boring, only to realise afterwards that the basics would have been more than enough. How do you deal with clients who go quiet? I have seen it suggested that you should follow bigger accounts and engage with their content to help grow your audience and build connections. As a personal trainer is there any point in following big pages like the body coach, fitness chef, james smith as they have a worldwide audience? or are you better off sticking to accounts from a similar location to yours as they have a more relevant audience? Also do you have any suggestions for any other type of accounts you should be connecti

  • Do you give leads a nudge? & Live Check in Q&A No.92

    14/03/2023 Duração: 24min

This is probably a “it’ depends” type answers but As an online coaching how often would you message and check up / support your clients, especially if they are new to your service? What is the best way to go about messaging old leads and clients What questions would you ask when a client leaves the service? Two of my clients took a break from my service recently (one for a few months, the other for a few weeks). I stayed in contact with them and they mentioned looking forward to coming back. They were supposed to come back last week. I contacted them, one said "Yes, no worries, just need to check my calender and I'll get back to you." She hasn't gotten back to me. The other completely ghosted me. How would you approach this? I know that "no response is a response", but they were both so eager that it's hard to let go. How to support a client who is suffering with depression? She hasn't been adhering to weekly check in's or her training programme for the last 6 weeks. I'm being very empathetic but

What do you think is better in your opinion, 30 clients who only see you for PT once a week, or 10 clients who see you 3 times for PT a week ? and why One of my clients has been working with me, in person, for just over a year now. She mentioned that she's hit 5 stone weight loss (some of it on her own, before working with, but a lot of it is whilst we've been training together) so I got her to send me progress photos. They looked incredible so I got straight on posting them on Insta. Then one of the other PTs in my gym sent me a post by a local online coach, using her photos and her story saying her results were all down to his online coaching and that they weren't done yet I asked my client about it and she said the coach is a close family friend and she dJust advice on on line programmeid a free month trial with him before lockdown, but didn't like it so didn't continue after the first month She sent him the photos, so I guess that's between them, but, from my point of view, it seems pretty shitty

how does everyone find new content for socials? and plan it How would you reach out to help a client who due to stresses of work, family life etc keeps smashing in the Twirls uncontrollably? He then beats himself up about this and goes off track. I only see him every fortnight? Cheers Pretty Boys. I feel like clients that are quick to sign up, are also quick to leave. How do I keep stop that from happening if they are eager to start? How to ride the highs and lows of the business more smoothly? I feel like my self-worth is directly tied to how well my business is doing. When everything goes well, I'm confident and happy. But when something goes wrong, I'm struggling not to take it personally. How best to use Facebook for conversations etc? I get lots of engagement on posts but I'm not sure if I'm making the most of it. How can I get my clients engaged in my community group (challenges, ideas to keep them engaging) How essential do you think talking to camera videos are for social media? As oppose

Any recommendations for resources to broaden my non-resistance training exercise repertoire? Including conditioning type exercises, functional movements etc. I often see names for exercises away from resistance training and think 'What the fuck is that?' what do other people do as a final check in and how do you work around clients that have have dictated to the process and been rude and expecting support after the process has ended? I'm struggling with the idea that you have to sell an outcome, not the product. Most people like to know the features of the product before buying, and in my case, the fact that my offer is unique also sets me apart from other yoga teachers. Is there a right time to mention the features, and if so, when? I sometimes wonder if my niche/ target market can afford 1:1 coaching and wondering I'd be better doing group coaching as a service for them, given that community will be an incredible and valuable feature for them. Is this me overthinking or assuming too much? GETTING S

We kick off this week with the most important questions of ... Who would we power slap? Then normal proceedings resume;  It's har to organise client events and meet ups, even a monthly zoom call because all my clients are so busy. How can I tackle that with something that can keep everyone engaged without people missing out all the time? how do you respond to enquiries who already devalue your service by shopping around for the cheapest option How would you split pricing for pair pt sessions? I am looking at changing my referral campaign and needing some advice. I'm going to use the last Saturday session of the month as an opportunity to bring someone along for free. My referrals haven't been great over the last year, do you have any tips to incentivise members to want to bring members along to this? I know you've spoken about doing quarterly prizes in the past, so I could potentially run this event once a quarter instead of once a month and make a bigger deal out of it. If I am doing it o
