LIVE Q&A CHECK IN #32
09/11/2021 Duração: 22minQuestions covered this week .... Still struggling to get people to book on for monthly reviews, how can I get across the value of these? Are they necessary for every client? Should I start with my new prices of my service or an introductory offer? I only told 1 person the intro prices but I have a feeling due to that, they won’t value other parts of the service, I can explain prices have gone up, but due to already agreeing, that I will keep the price the same for the 3 months I'm changing my payment method to monthly direct debits in the new year. What would you do if a member wanted to sign up, but couldn't make 1 or 2 weeks due to a holiday and therefore didn't want to pay for a full month? I think a potential option could be to increase their session frequency before and after their holiday so they're not missing out. I know this is an option for 1-2-1 but would it work with group coaching too? In some cases I don't think I'd mind charging for half a month if it meant keeping them in my busine

LIVE Check in Q&A #31
19/10/2021 Duração: 46minQuestions from the team this week; How to approach clients being unresponsive to emails for check-ins/not joining Facebook group/monthly reviews? Wasn’t included in price before so not sure how to firstly get them to value it, then actually fill them in. They all say they are very happy with service which makes me think I don’t need to change much and don’t want to keep badgering them How you would structure and enquiry call, questions things like that etc. Do you need two seperate routes for 1:1 & online coaching - e.g. pre-consult, consult, onboarding Do you think it's possible to move fully online too soon? How can you deal with potential clients / members in the gym believing BS advice from other PTs. Is it more talking to the team about their knowledge or giving education out to the members and hoping they believe you. I’ve start a daily email to my small list with hopes to row my list and engagement with my audience. Would you say it’s ok repeating what I also post on social m

Live check in Q&A #30
12/10/2021 Duração: 36minQuestion covered this week; How would you market a 6 week nutrition/fat loss course? Aimed at 25 - 35 year old females, education based with a program for all to follow ( 1-2-1/ group coaching) 1. You talk a lot about your wants, needs, beliefs and values and how do you go about creating and relating these to your business. 2. If you were going into a new commercial gym (doing 12 hours rent also) what would be your first priority actions going in there to get you off to a good start. What are your thoughts on working with people for free before launching a new service? As I'm creating a new onboarding process I am considering taking on 2-3 online clients for free before launching the new service in the new year. I think this would allow me to get familiar with this process while sorting out any issues and making improvements to it before I launch the paid service, any thoughts or advice? Any advice for setting up a podcast? I have a client who hasn't been to any sessions in a few weeks. We h

LIVE Check in Q&A #29
06/10/2021 Duração: 26minIn this week session we cover; How to improve adherence for a long term client How to know when you're not doing enough or the client isn't giving you enough Im doing an online exercise library for my clients - what is the best way to upload it? Google drive/FB/ APP?. How would you collect emails at the gym? 1. Would you produce different content accross different social media plateforms? Or can you post the same things accross IG, facebook, LinkedIn? If different, what would be the differences? 2. Any advice on local marketing, as a gym located in the city centre I am thinking about going into the offices in the building and offering either seminars (wellbeing at work, lunch at work, quick stretch routine) and/or flyers with intro to PT at half price. If someone takes ages to sign up after consultation/ you have to chase them a bit.. should this be seen as a red flag? Should you onboard them? How would you go about pursuing the local area as a marketing medium? Flyers/business cards in l

LIVE CHECK IN Q&A #28
28/09/2021 Duração: 51minQuestions from this weeks check ins; Is lead gen in classes dead or would it be good to promote business. I was thinking of giving away a free recipe book next week to people who give me their email and then maybe the following week a free group training trail. Could I do more or is this a good starting point? Do you think males or females are a tougher target market to sell to and bring onboard? Best way to ask your clients what more support they want from you without feeling like shit if they through loads of ideas your way that you haven't been doing with them How do you know if your target market is the right one for you? 1. Clients would rather pay monthly as they go instead of using GoCardless (i.e. direct debit). So far I've just gone with what they prefer. Is this going to cause issues further down the line? 2. When I do the weekly check in I feel like I might be bothering clients when they'd rather be left alone. How do you find the balance between supporting clients outside of the gym, a

LIVE CHECK IN Q&A #27
21/09/2021 Duração: 32minThis weeks questions answered; Sorry this is long lol. Any advice on having a split audience? From my polls I’m finding a split in the way they measure success, what they want to achieve and why they want it. If I include all of this in my content, I feel like it will confuse my message and confuse me. Half focus on aesthetics, progress pics etc. And others just want to feel good and be happy in themselves. Potentially differences in age and diet history etc playing a role. What can I do for the clients who don't have FB or choose not to be on the group as I upload videos on there for them. how do you avoid burn out? We always ask what’s the best podcasts / books / courses etc for us as PTs but what would you recommend for our clients ? I have gifted out Atomic Habits , James Smiths books and The Fitness chefs books in the past, would you recommend any others ? Please can you advise how to correct someone's form on gym floor without denting their confidence? I enjoy goin

14/09/2021 Duração: 33minJoin the 6 week mentoring program >>>> http://ptmentoracademy.com/ Questions covered this week; How to approach leads who on a pre-consult form select they’re willing to invest the least money wise. They tend to be cold leads who haven’t followed my content. What’s your ratio of compound to isolation. Should I be posting everyday or for example is 4 times a week enough and showing up on stores etc in between Should I be creating more content for marketing online coaching? videos/posters etc? not just pictures? How do you get clients to understand that they are probably under-reporting their calories without coming across as a dick? What are some examples of aims and intent when it comes to lead gen? Sometimes I feel like I need to have a reason to go approach people and I want to know that they will get something from it if that makes sense. How often do you feel you should change a clients program and what things would you consider around this?

Worrying that a lack of before and afters damages my social proof especially with my demographic. My clients take them but it’s asking to share them. How do I go about this best? Because I totally empathise with them. How do you stop clients from making excuses and lying about their diet and steps Sales conversion rate is low. Trying to show how I can add value but expense is always the number one objection. Advice please. Sorry guys - another Q! How do you present your prices to clients? Heard mixed reviews about 'avoid pulling out a pricing sheet', 'present your price sheet and stay quiet/say nothing', 'know your prices and present as a tailored/personal pricing option for each client'(even though these prices are all the same obvs!), 'clients aren't interested i

LIVE CHECK IN #23
06/07/2021 Duração: 38minThis weeks questions from the group; What do you do with clients (I have 2 in particular) that every single day I have to chase up to send me their food diaries as part of daily accountability. It's been made clear at the start about their role, had a couple of reminders about it and yet it STILL doesn't change. It frustrates the shit out of me. There is a daily reminder for all clients that goes in my members group hub to send through their agreed daily accountability which is supposed to be done by the end of each day, as I allocate my schedule to go through them all first thing in the mornings. Should I continue to chase them or do I leave it and put the responsibility back on them? I just worry if I leave it, things spiral and part of my service is the daily accountability which the rest of my clients love. Looking to do seminars in the gym but how do I make "calorie counting" and "weight loss tips" sound exciting to get them to actually come? I don't want it to sound t

LIVE CHECK IN Q&A #21
16/06/2021 Duração: 45minQuestions covered this week; I have an obese client I am working with. From the start have made sure the client has complete autonomy and built the plan around what they have felt they could do, given them the daily accountability that they requested. Goes well for two weeks then ghosts me for a week, then gets back in touch etc and we get on a call. From the start she said she has given herself two years to lose what she needs to which is great that she is realistic, however even though we've talked about doing it in smaller chunks, just to focus on the actions for each day she continues to get demoralised by how much she has to lose, which causes the ghosting/self sabotage. But she doesn't want to give up which is great. The hardest part is she is just so tired all the time, only sleeps 4.5 hours at night, gets home from work at 3 then naps for two hours because she is so tired. Currently we are trying to start getting her to go to bed a bit earlier and reduce the n
