My hope is that this podcast gives a voice for those who feel that they have no voice, and helps them to appreciate their lives and look forward with faith.I'll also be doing interviews with friends, professionals, and the like about what they've learned about loving what they do and making a difference in their jobs, families, and communities.

  • Reflections on the Storm That Has Been Silenced - #197

    08/04/2022 Duração: 06min

Remember when you had those storms that raged and raged and then.... they were gone? Remember the relief of knowing that you made it to your destination, that despite all odds you got to the other side? That's kind of what it feels like to be graduated now. It's extremely humbling and I see so much more clearly how there were SO many people eager to help me through the storm.Even though I didn't take as full advantage of this help as I could've (there's always more we could do) I did learn tons and I am eager to help out others who will go through it.Here's my thoughts on this storm and preparing for the next ones ahead.Related Episodes:Support the show

  • Lessons From INFERNO Week (Marketing Names, Self-Care, and Time-Value) - #196

    08/04/2022 Duração: 15min

Two weeks ago I challenged myself to get the rest of my college work done in a week. I had myself wake up early, exercised, and pretty much just did whatever I needed to do. I didn't make any excuses. It was a little crazy... and I did end up crashing a few days in. Overall it was a great learning experience though. Here's what I learned:1. The power of marketing - 1:312. There's no going back for more self-care - when the time for performance has come the time for preparation has ended.3. A week is a solid amount of time to get things done. - Try to get two weeks of work done in a week... and you do that over and over again... you're set (similar to recording podcast episodes in advance."It always seems impossible until it's done." - Nelson MandelaSupport the show

  • Graduation Day Thoughts! - My Soul is PUMPED. - #195

    07/04/2022 Duração: 06min

Note: I graduated on April 7, 2022 so yeah I am uploading this a day late.. (shrugs)Being on the other side of the college life is INSANE. It was very good to me and I learned TONS and TONS. I am looking forward to documenting my journey more and taking a NICE break from pretty much everything haha. The end was honestly way more stressful than it needed to be. I struggled to keep the big picture in mind at times but I really called out to God and He sent many care packages and things to help me keep going. He's never let me down at any point of my journey. Getting to know God more at the end of this semester through my struggles and worries helped me know myself better too which is beautiful. It hasn't quite hit me that I am a college graduate and am not enrolling for next semester. It is fascinating to think about how I can always be a student and enroll myself in other courses to help me grow. I do have a strong desire to do that... but I need a break first haha.I do feel like I need to look out mor

  • Trust in the Lord's Infinite Strength - #194

    06/04/2022 Duração: 10min

I am at a point in my life where I feel close to breaking some days. I don't know how I am going to make it past this part. I take comfort from knowing that God is faithful, mighty to save, and to encourage me in ALL of my battles, present and future. In this episode I dove into some times in my life where God's strength REALLY came in CLUTCH, and my stress turned into joy and peace!! I also shared how being more intentional leads to more joy and more choices. We need to trust in God's strength. He is able to snap His fingers and make our worries disappear. This is what I am learning more and more to lean on each day.Support the show

I am struggling right now. I did not plan ahead as well for this semester and kind of just survived from day to day and didn't celebrate when I was thriving as much. I was pretty hard on myself. It was beautiful and wonderful in a lot of ways but school-wise I have struggled a lot more than I needed to. I'll be back at it sooner rather than later. • Trust in the Lord's Infinite Hope - #191

    30/03/2022 Duração: 24min

I shared some stories about how the Lord has helped me to find hope not of this world. It's a wonderful thing to scatter sunshine to help in spreading His hope. :)Streaming on Twitch for me back in 2020 was an act of hope. It helped me to be more centered and secure and God helped me through it. I am SO glad He helped me with learning more and more to look forward with a perfect brightness of hope."A Mother's Hope" - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ssHhzi7alI&ab_channel=TheChurchofJesusChristofLatter-daySaintsThere are times where God uses me to help spread more hope on campus and I am learning to be more and more thankful for these things.I am learning more to not cover up my hope and to just trust it more. Especially as I am finishing up college and my life feels SO uncertain I just have to lean more on God's hope."A tiny little glimmer of hope can help you SO much.""Ideas bring hope.""Hoping in Christ isn't going anywhere but up."Support the

  • 3 Focuses to Finish Strong (At Pretty Much Anything) - #186

    08/03/2022 Duração: 12min

I graduate with my Bachelor's Degree from BYU-Idaho in 30 days! It is INSANE! I am getting more and more PUMPED and EXCITED for the next chapter of my life, and I am also seeking to blow the rest of this one OUT OF THE WATER!With that said though there is a need to take a step back and remind myself that to sprint endlessly without a plan of where I am going is not going to help me get where I need to go. Furthermore, if I put my energy in less-useful activities here at this pivotal time I may just stress myself out and struggle much more than I need to at the finish line. I am not going to let that happen to myself. This is for those of you out there that are seeking to finish a project, move on from a job, or something of that nature. Change is crazy but it can also be exciting. Making the most of the final legs of your current journey I have found is one of the BEST ways to get a solid start to your next adventure. :)1. Focus on what excites you that is beyond a job well-done.2. Gain strength from rem

I haven't done a good HARD run in 85 days. You better believe that has affected my mindset and overall happiness. Tonight is the start of a brand new beginning.1.
