Guilford County Legislature Town Hall #VoterID is needed in #NorthCarolina .@NCGOP .@GuilfordGOP .@greensboro On Nov 6th, 2018 there were many constitutional amendments that WE THE PEOPLE voted on including the Amendment to Require Voters to Provide Photo Identification Before Voting in Person. In my opinion, this was the SINGLE most important amendment that North Carolina citizens voted on. The election results showed that a majority of North Carolina Citizens voted FOR Voter ID In my opinion, requiring voters to prove their identity by showing a photo ID when voting is simply a measure to ensure that people aren’t misrepresenting themselves when voting. Sadly there is the continuing argument over if Voter ID is needed for security vs the opponents who claim voter suppression, and the myth of racism as related to voting. Once again I spoke about Voter ID On Nov 6th, 2018 there were many constitutional amendments that WE THE PEOPLE voted on. One such was the Constitutional Amendment to Require Voters to Provide Photo Identification Before Voting in Person. In my opinion, this was the SINGLE most important amendment that North Carolina citizens voted on. The election results showed that a majority of North Carolina Citizens at over 2 Million voted FOR Voter ID Put to its simplest terms it’s an argument over if Voter ID is needed for security or as opponents say it will keep people from voting.
