Law enforcement is often described as 99% boredom and 1% pure adrenaline, and that 1% can be dangerous, even deadly, for officers struggling with weight, metabolic disease, and insulin resistance. Many in these high-stress fields face an uphill battle with obesity and metabolic issues, made worse by the sedentary nature of much of their work.I share my own journey through these challenges: from a peak weight of 365 pounds to transforming my health and dropping over 130 pounds through fasting, testosterone therapy, and a new approach to nutrition. Fasting became a breakthrough strategy for me, helping reset my metabolism and cut down body fat sustainably. And testosterone therapy, under careful medical guidance, provided the added support my body needed to reclaim strength, energy, and resilience.
