Our first ever episode with LIVE music! Tom Stahl (Buffalo Music Hall of Famer) joins Margaret to talk about his journey to becoming a singer-songwriter. He tried his hand at comedy in LA before coming back to Buffalo to try acting on for size. He talks about meeting his wife, Lou Stahl and plays a song about her. Finally, with the coaxing of his lovely wife, he stepped onto the stage as a musician at a Nietzsche's open mic. Tom plays some songs in the studio during this groundbreaking episode.

Sister Patsy and Margaret sit down in the convent to discuss some of the issues facing the church today. Sister Patsy talks about her calling to be a nun, being a school principal, and her faith over the years. Sister Patsy ends the podcast by singing a St. Patrick's day song.

Mr. Swords and Margaret sit down in Margaret's Buffalo-area studio to talk about Mr. Swords' 37 year teaching career. Mr. Swords starts by talking about how he went to a Seminary-focused high school. He then entered the Seminary with dreams of becoming a priest. He eventually left the seminary to become a teacher. Mr. Swords explains the philosophy behind his infamous "Spot Quizzes." Mr. Swords tells us why he thinks middle schoolers are the best students. Mr. Swords reminisces on his strict rules in class and how mad he'd get when students missed class.  

The episode you've all been waiting for! Margaret finally interviews her life coach. This is a funny one! Kacey tells us about getting kicked out of high school, emerging onto the burlesque scene, and becoming a life coach. Margaret and Kacey relive their biggest fights; like when Kacey asked Margaret how much money she has. Margaret reveals what she is most proud of in her life. Margaret also reveals that she thinks she may be, possibly, kind of good at her job.

Muck and Kelsea come on the podcast to tell the story of their whirlwind romance! Muck just completed his third 100 mile running race and Kelsea made it all possible by organizing his support crew along the route. Kelsea and Muck talk us through Muck's most recent Leadville 100. Muck shares his advice for something thinking of running an ultra race. Kelsea and Muck bring the laughs and the love to TalkMeg.

Mimi returns to the podcast to give a review of her experience at Burning Man. Mimi shares her admiration for Senti and her body confidence. Jaime shares some personal stories from the past few years and tells us about her recent Jeopardy audition.

Christina joins us to talk about how she started her yoga studio in Pueblo. She talks about why she made her yoga classes "donation based," which classes have failed over the years, and how she manages running a yoga studio while holding a full time job. Oh boy! This really is an intimate one! Margaret cried while editing this episode. Stephanie (social worker for the public defender) and Margaret get into an emotional conversation towards the last 30 minutes of the podcast. But first - Stephanie talks about her "dating cleanse", opening a foster home in Pueblo, CO, having a Garth Brooks orthodontic retainer, her diets, and body positivity. (TW: diet talk, weight talk) Then Steph interviews Margaret. Margaret tells the listeners what she was like in 5th grade, what her self-care practices are, what her life coach makes her do. Margaret shares her biggest fear and her concerns about what people think of her. Steph and Margaret end the podcast by giving advice to their 15-year-old selves!

Legendary Pueblo Criminal Defender, Randy Jorgensen, talks about some of his most memorable clients, starting his own practice, and representing cops.  

Guillermo was born in Kansas to immigrant parents. He eventually made his way to Colorado where he worked for 25 years as a public defender. Guillermo talks about representing Native American clients, finding love later in life, and his advice for young attorneys.  

Mary and Margaret talk about Mary's culinary training in NY, meeting her chef husband, working in kitchens in Portland, Oregon, moving back to Pueblo to open her first business (Steel City Diner), weathering the storm of bad reviews online, and following her dream of owning a bakery.  

Margaret was Kate's nanny for years. Kate comes on the podcast as the youngest ever guest! She dishes on college life at Cornell, sorority culture, and the biggest scandal to rock Cornell this year.

In this freewheeling episode Leah Clancy waxes poetic [pun intended] about Buffalo and its most famous characters: Carl Paladino, Father Art, Assemblyman Mark Schroeder, and the Goo Goo Dolls. Then Leah delves into the tough topics: Tinder dating, wakes and funerals, and living in LA.

Kim and Margaret met in Ecuador in 2012. Kim and her husband quit their jobs, sold their house and everything in it and set out to travel the world in 2012. Ecuador was their first stop. They kept traveling for five years. Throughout the journey, Kim was working on her memoir, The Yellow Envelope. Joe Rozsa is Margaret's friend from high school. He and his husband went through a years long journey to adopt a baby. They eventually turned to Facebook and as of last week are proud fathers of a newborn! Joe and Margaret talk about how adoption works, how much Joe loves being married to the first guy he ever dated, and how Margaret's adoption of Louie the dog was an open adoption.

Liam is Margaret's childhood neighbor and family friend. Liam talks about coming out to his Irish Catholic family, how he met his boyfriend, doing the City Year program in NYC, and growing up outside Buffalo, NY.  

Vic and Dave have been together for 17 years and married for three! They met in Austin and founded a coffeeshop and community meeting space. After 10 years, they sold their successful Austin shop and set sail to Pueblo, CO where they opened Squawk Coffee. Dave talks about working at Home Depot, meeting Vic at an adult roller skating night, and being a handyman. Vic talks about being a Christian missionary in Russia, being in youth group with Joanna Gaines (Fixer Upper), and living in in a geodesic dome house.
