This week Gloria and Chris review their final episodes of AfterMASH: Ward Is Hell (Ses 2 Ep 6), Saturday's Heroes (Ses 2 Ep 7), and Wet Feet (Ses 2 Ep 8). This week we talk about Ses 2 Ep 4 - Trials where we see the entrance of a new psychiatrist at General General (Dr. Lenore Dudziak) as well as another Dear episode. Then we discuss Ses 2 Ep 5 - Madness to His Method where Max is hard-selling Dr. Dudziak on his insanity, Boyer is dealing with a very complex knot of emotions adjacent and around Dr. Dudziak, and Sherman and Mildred have their first fight in 37 years of marriage.

This week on #WhiskeyAndAfterMASH, as we review Ses 2 Ep 2 - Calling Dr. Habibi and Ses 2 Ep 3 - Strangers & Other Lovers, we talk about Max's continued out-of-character actions, Potter's defense of Boyer, Boyer's continuing struggles with his disability and lack of a consistent romantic partner, Alma Cox's odd adherance to the strictures of regulations, and Potters attempts to keep his staff and sanity in tact while the ground shifts around him.

This wee we talk about Sherman being on his own for a night, but not really having any alone time as he tends to one crisis, annoyance, or patient after another. Francis finds a new depth to his priestly vocation when a former prostitute, Sarah, entreats him not to move out of his new apartment in her building. Also, Klinger is back to his old ways in Fever Pitch as he helps Dr. Boyer 'obtain' a cooling blanket from another hospital.

This week we watch the season 1 cliffhanger and the season 2 openers that deal with Max getting conned into a house, his pugilistic way of getting out, Boyer's issues relating to people when he's accutely aware of his disability, Soon Lee having her baby (it's a boy!), and Mike D'Angelo being relieved of his post.

This week on #WhiskeyAndAfterMASH we talk about Ses1 Ep 16 - It Had to Be You where Dr. Boyer gets an unexpected morale and ego boost from Radar's jilted Intended-To-Be. Meanwhile, we watch as the Potters, Klingers, and Fr. Mulcahy try to console Radar about seemingly bad knews about the future Mrs. O'Reilley, Sandy. Then, in Ses 1 Ep 17 - Odds and Ends we watch as Max does his best to earn $500 so that he and Soon Li can be ready for their new baby. Bob Skinnel ends up helping them in the end with a gift of $500 that he just had lying around. He didn't realize that, though, until Fr. Mulcahy pointed it out while the two were working out Bob's new will before he went in for another surgery.

This week we talk about Ses 1 Ep 14, CYA, and Ses 1 Ep 15, Yours Truly, Max Klinger, both of which still seem to suffer from the symptom of trying to fit too much plot into too little time. That said, the plots moved at a good pace and were well written.

This week on #WhiskeyAndAfterMASH we talk about Season 1, Ep 12 (All About Christmas Eve) where there are six different plot threads. They include: Alma Cox finally feeling appreciated by Mike D'Angelo then feeling betrayed, turning her ire on Klinger; Father Mulcahy getting a donation of a 12 inch TV set from a department store; an ulcer patient arriving at General General who (as a separate plot) helps Dr. Pfiffer find his holiday spirit; another patient arriving who thinks his wife is cheating on him; and Klinger and Soon Lee finding out they are pregnant. In Season 1 Ep 13 (Chief of Staff) there are only about four plots including: D'Angelo getting a prostate operation; Cox feeling first finally appreciated by Mike, then rejected; Nurse Coleman, a black nurse, arriving at General General and her failed trial under fire; Pvt. Bob and another patient fighting over a (married) elder nurse; Potter's office being redecorated by Klinger and Mulcahy with his gear from the 4077th. Both were very dense, but Chief

This week we review Sunday, Cruddy Sunday (Ses 1 Ep 8?) wherein the gang are all at General General on a Sunday for Visitor's Day and the 1st Annual Bake Sale. Next, we reviewThanksgiving of '53 (Ses 1 Ep 9?) which is exactly what it sounds like. In both of our opinions, Thanksgiving of '53 is the best episode of the series to date. This week, as a denoument to our 4077th podcasts, we present you with our top ten episodes of M*A*S*H. Surprisingly, there was no overlap between lists!

In this, our episode for the last episode of M*A*S*H, we skip our usual synopsis and dive right into our discussion. This week on #WhiskeyAndMASH we discuss what happens when Charles snores so loudly that it causes Potter's son in law to cheat on his wife while en route to the 4077th (May not be a completely accurate summary of the plot; Ep 11 - Strange Bedfellows was Gloria's episode). Next, we watch as Margaret loses her voice due to laryngitis that she, apparently, contracts from a late-night OR session that pulls her out of the shower mid way through a perm. Additionally, a Major General sets up camp in the 4077th while his son is recovering (Ses 11 Ep 12 - Say No More).

This week on #WhiskeyAndMASH, we talk about what happens when you think you're getting a ringer for a bet and don't (Ses 11 Ep 9 - Run for the Money). Next, we talk about what it takes to cure a headache, a neck ache, a stick up a major's bum, a psyhological block to intimacy, and a doctor's ability to beat himself up over a patient's condition (Ses 11 Ep 10 - U.N., the Night, and the Music).

This week on #WhiskeyAndMASH we talk about how much a person can really hide themselves in their work as well as what it takes to get a successful children's toy financed (Ses 11 Ep 5 - Who Knew?). Second, we discuss how hard it is to book Marilyn Monroe for a visit to the 4077th as well as what it takes to get a Bronze Star to give away to a deserving soldier in Post-Op (Ses 11 Ep 6 - Bombshells).

This week, to round out the first third of the last season of M*A*S*H, we look at what it takes to pull off a suprise party for Potter as well as to what lengths a good leader's men will go to avenge his wounding (Seas 11 Ep 7 - Settling Debts). Next up, we talk about what happens when the 4077th is declared a dry camp during a heat wave. Specifically, to what ends BJ and Hawk turn their attentions when it's not focused on booze (Ses 11 Ep 8 - The Moon Is Not Blue).

This week on #WhiskeyAndMASH we talk about the depth of Charles' character when a French maiden comes to call from the Red Cross (Ses 11 Ep 3 - Foreign Affairs), but ends up living too Bohemian of a life for his status. Next, we see just what paranoia can do to a person when Hawkeye is tricked into believing that BJ is after the whole senior staff (Ses 11 Ep 4 - The Joker Is Wild) when in fact it is the whole senior staff who are after Hawkeye.

This week we begin the last season of MASH (sad panda) with Episodes 1 (Hey, Look Me Over) and 2 (Trick or Treatment). In Episode 1 we see Nurse Kelleye get the spotlight she deserves for being in a total of 178 episodes of M*A*S*H. She confronts Hawkeye after he unsuccessfully attempts to seduce nurses right in front of Kelleye. Also, there's a minor subplot about the OR being a shambles and a nurse-Colonel inspector coming to see how Margaret handles herself after a bug-out scenario. In Episode 2 we watch at the 4077th is inundated with unexpected casualties as they are gearing up for a Halloween party. During this the staff share ghost stories, Charles deals with self-inflicted wounds of Marines, Hawk helps a soldier get on the road to mental health, and Fr. Mulcahy saves a life while performing Last Rites.

This week we close out Season 10 of M*A*S*H with Ep 20, Picture This, and Ep 21, That Darn Kid. First, in Picture This, we see again how boredom combined with cramped quarters can drive the surgeons to interpersonal conflict, even as Potter tries to capture them in a portrait for Mildred. Next, in That Darn Kid, we watch as Rizo cons Winchester out of a month's pay while Potter and Klinger work together to keep Hawk from being in debt to the US Army for the rest of his natural life.
