Live Check in Q&A No.86
31/01/2023 Duração: 29minHow important do you think social media is for in- person PT? All my clients come from the gym or referrals. I'm not sure posting is a good use of time as I get very little (if anything) back from it. I am going to start using stories more, how do you decide what content you put on your stories and what content you post on your news feed Honestly, got none this week. I’m sure the marketing section will generate some the weekend Would you suggest theme for the week on content. for example I was going to do 1 barrier ie Where to start w strength training and focus content around that for the week? Or mix it up? (it that makes sense ha) When to put aside the time for ‘overflow slots’ if client needs to rearrange With algorithms changing all the time, and engagement going up and down, what should we prioritise when it comes to socials? What's your advice for feeling quite overwhelmed with marketing/ social media and constantly feeling the need to 'keep up'? Really caught up in a vortex of time spen

24/01/2023 Duração: 17minIs it ok that I’m ‘standing still’ in regards to lead generation at the moment., whilst I’m getting through the course. There’s lots to take in and I feel like I need to stop and take stock of everything. To complete the financial dashboard tasks and make that a priority How do we go about online lead gen? Should we follow loads of people, reach out as soon as possible, I know I can provide value but it’s more about getting new eyes on me Should you be actively spending time each day following people or focusing on creating content that people share so they see your page organically? I want to start online in April, is it too early to start discussing now? If I wanted to use a part of a client get together for service feedback, ideas and input, how would you go about this to ensure the info gathered is solid?

17/01/2023 Duração: 28minWhat do you think the absolute max price is (per month) for a service that offers 1 session per week with out taking the piss and over charging? Would you spend time each day following new accounts or hope that people find you through your content what is the best way to encourage clients in a group chat Do lead magnets have to be free - is there harm in a small fee to keep people accountable to it (i.e. 21-28 day challenges etc) How to retain clients after 6 month’s program without feeling sleazy? Ask about how to navigate through course and use e- learning book, plus dashboard Yes homeboys. In on a Sunday. Virtual High Five. Any recommendations for resources to get a deeper understanding of exercise biomechanics? What is your advice about clients that don't engage with nutrition support or check ins /monthly reviews I've given options of a short check in (3 questions with rating on a scale) , tracking on an app, food photos, food diary and even scaling it right back to just tracking portion

10/01/2023 Duração: 17minHave said this one before, but always struggle with making conversations in the DMs. Any tips just to refresh myself Top tips to avoid burn out, especially balancing shift work on PT and building business. The shift work seems draining How do you overcome procrastination and believe that your posts are good enough to post The 90 Day Programme trap' Please can you explain in more detail about this. The reason why I ask is because I have shifted my sales and marketing to attracting leads to my 90day program and I am now a bit concerned I might look like 'one of them coaches' if you know what I mean. My 90day program is 3 months of 1-2-1 online coaching program and if they need/want to continue for longer than 3 months they and and do, I communicate this in the initial consult. Thanks for the feedback. Tips to help with scheduling marketing posts on social media

Check in Q&A No.82
19/12/2022 Duração: 18minIf I’m increasing my price what options can I give to the client If a client was to leave the business out of the blue, would you send out a feedback form to them, to thank them for their support etc but also get feedback on why they left/what they would improve etc? What's the main thing you see succesful coaches do? A stand out trait they all have maybe? When collecting feedback from clients what questions should I include? Should it be anonymous for more honest feedback or individualised so I can tailor my service to each person? How to support my client who struggles with self belief and low self confidence, I am actively listening to her and ask reflective and open questions then guide her from there, she sounds better after, then after few days, she asks if I can help her with that again, I feel like we are not getting anywhere. Thanks For client monthly reviews, I am thinking about creating a monthly review form for clients to fill out, then give them the option to book a call with me if the

13/12/2022 Duração: 32minHow do you go about setting goals in a monthly review for pairs coaching? Separately (in the same meeting) or together? How can I help a client value my service? What are your best tips to get lots of client transformations? We sell results, Do you think it's important to sell a monthly online coaching service as a programme with an end date (Example : 3 to 6 month programme) so that the client has an end date to aim for? Then there would be the option to continue if the client wanted/needed. When to know when I can go full rent. (I don't feel confident to do so yet as I need to sort marketing out but my goal for next year) What is the best way to dig into exploring clients values? For both 1:1 and small group clients.

06/12/2022 Duração: 35minIf someone enquires and wants to know prices straight away, is there ways we can show plenty of value before and during the consultation? How can I phrase questions in a client feedback survey, so that I get critical feedback on what I can do better? How to start to promote online coaching Please can you give me your thoughts on tracking conversations. When tracking daily 'conversations' I'm guessing I only track the conversations I have with leads I want to have continuous conversation with and then maybe sell to. Is that correct? If the conversation with a lead is a NO GO (not my fit / not my niche / bit of a tit) I am guessing I don't track that one and move on. Thanks I have watched the small group training webinar. I am going to give my clients access to Truecoach so they have access to workouts out with their sessions. Is it ok to give all clients the same program to follow? Or should they all follow different ones? I was planning on giving them all the same plan with instructions on

29/11/2022 Duração: 21minI'm worried Im starting to gather interest for January sign ups too early Is it ok to start generating leads & enquiries for January now or should I be focusing on getting these people signed up in December? From January I am changing my holiday policy so I am taking 4 weeks off throughout the year without pausing any of my memberships. I am planning to upload a document to TeamUp that all my members have to read & agree to moving forward. Have you got any advice for the best way to communicate this change? And if anyone isn't happy with it should I give them an option to cancel their membership for January? I have a client that has gave me feedback, they are happy with how things are and respect me for what I do, but they keep bringing up how I need to do meal plans and offer sessions on the weekend when I dont work. How would you go about not letting it get on your nerves because there is only so many times I need to explain Is there any best way to approach December (in terms of mark

29/11/2022 Duração: 23minShould I link Stripe to Calendly? - (I haven't done the pricing module yet so think this will explain more) What do you think is a good range of sessions to do per week, to avoid burnout but to maximise income and a high level of service? How to approach an online client that has not got back to last 3 messages or not checked in And how would you communicate this with clients any advice on lead magnets aimed a busy parents. I have some ideas but wondered if you know any golden ones for this market that work well ? Thanks What is the best way to support someone who hasn't got any goals? My client has been with me a year, her nutrition and training are good. I feel like she's not getting anything outside of the sessions and there's not much to feedback to give from her checkins. For a PT that works in a commercial gym, If you can't get balanced shifts that work alongside your business, would you say being a rent paying PT is a no-brainer? What's your thoughts of offering some kind of free trial for 121? Maybe through an email series but something that could help a prospect have a bigger buy in How can I be better at being more direct with my call to action? I know it's something I need to do better at but sometimes I worry about coming across as pushy or 'salesy' Probs too late now because I've slugged the timing of this. Or is an Instagram/Facebook page enough Advice for my first seminar/ talk how to keep it interactive and interesting? 19/10/2022 Duração: 36minWhat would you recommend as a check in process? Google form, pics weekly/monthly, metrics measured? Find some clients reluctant to measure some things. Thanks What other people have done in my situation they have a fear and sticking point around posting content. Why is stripe used more than gocardless? does it really matter which one you use? I know gocardless notifies you when people cancel or miss a payment but im not sure stripe does Other than conversations, what's one way you would try stand out if you were on the gym floor again How to approach a client who is being very guarded with her nutrition? I have tried to meet her where she is at and support her in methods that she knows work for her, but she isn't seeing the results she wants, is active outside of her sessions and completing her own workouts. She has PCOS and is peri menopausal, she says she has 'tried everything in the book' and nothing works for her but every time I try to approach her nutrition and have an open conversation, she c

11/10/2022 Duração: 36minBest questions for asking when getting clients to go re-do their goals I've been doing some research into a potential new offering. After looking into last census it seems over half of the population where I'm located are retired & not seeking work. 3 questions...( I know only 1 but I've let you off the past few weeks) 1. Could it be the younger generations aren't filling in the census? 2. What are your thoughts on group gentle mobility & resistance for retired population? 3. How would you go about lead generation? (can bring this to the event next month) Something I've thought about since July/August as an option incase bills etc really did bite peoples arses is promoting training in pairs. What would be your advice for such a thing? Pros & Cons? Red Flags? Potential issues etc? Much love xx How often should you revisit your vision, values and long term goals? How do I ensure clients aren’t dictating my diary and best way to schedule and plan this? I am taking annual leave away fr

04/10/2022 Duração: 32minIm struggling to think of content to put in my newsletter that doesnt take an hour to write. I used to do 'exercise of the week' but this took too long to write. How long should a weekly newsletter be? What are the best KPI's to track and measure? Is it normal to lose clients when you make changes to improve your service? I've really upped my game this month, made a video explaining all the extra stuff they will be getting. and within an hour of my video i had consistent regular clients say they dont feel it's for them / cant continue to pt at this time... Is it normal for clients not to share the same excitement / vision for the service they are paying for? How to set up a pre consultation? And what sort pf questions should I ask? Anything to put in place for planning for future with cost of living etc. Best ways/practices to manage the emotions of running a business. How do you define a CTA and how many should you have What's one piece of advice you'd give your younger self starting out in th

Your PT Business doesn’t define you - With Chris Irvine
02/10/2022 Duração: 52minBack at last with guests on the podcast, and we kick off with a belter of a guest. We have known Chris since he started in the industry and to say this man grafts and has earned everything he has achieved in the industry is a huge understatement. From running a very successful business in a commercial facility, to creating and running Nitrafit company, all the way through to coaching other coaches in business. We dive into a topic that I don't thin has been spoken about too mcc and hopefully you will resonate and feel like you're not alone in this industry. Too many of us as coaches attach our emotions to the business to a point it continually consumes us. It negatively effects our confidence, mood and how we are around others to a point we feel it brings us far away from reality of what is actually important. The industry is creeping towards judging success on revenue alone yet coaches have never been more lost, burnt out and lacking in confidence due to the constant battle of compa

28/09/2022 Duração: 26minInstagram Lead Gen: I try run polls but struggle getting votes on them. Do you think I should be more vague (i.e do you prefer white or brown bread) to then start a conversation with people? When can you consider yourself an animal on the gym floor? what does it take to have that title? How to know when you're at your capacity and how does your marketing change when you're there - I'm currently working with the highest number of clients I ever have, I'm reluctant to take on any more because I'm worried that either my service will slip or my marketing will slip and I've worked really hard on both especially the past few months! Ideas how to get people to follow my instagram in the gym floor What's the best investment you made as coaches Just mapping out how I onboard from Enquiry to Pre-Consult to entering the service. Once peeps are in the business, are Lifestyle type questionnaires still viable to get any info you've not covered elsewhere in the process? What sort of questions would you generally

25/09/2022 Duração: 24minHow would you go about getting more of your demographic following you on Instagram? Should we make posts where we actually sell coaching and be super direct? What are you best tips for retention as we move into the last quater of the year What is a service trial, if it’s not a taster session? What daily indicators can I use and track when just looking to maintain client base instead of growing it? Tips on how to improve the service for people who are poor at logging workouts, communicating, giving you info around their nutrition etc. I'm looking at this from the angle that I need to switch up an area of my coaching rather than them being non-adherent. Cheers Plebs.
