    Ever heard the term Mom Bod? I did a few years ago, through a fitness ad basically trying to sell me on the fact that my body, which grew and carried my kid, now needed to be fixed because it had tummy skin, cellulite, body fat, and stretch marks....the markers of a supposedly broken "mom bod." You know I don't subscribe to that shit.  And my biggest belief is that we mamas have a tendency to feel like we are in need of fixing when.... We feel icky about our bodies or something about our bodies. Or feel betrayed by our body or out of touch with our body when.... We feel beaten down mentally. Our self worth or self confidence is in the tank. Our body doesn't FUNCTION like it used to.   Here's the thing, mama.  Only identifying with an icky body with cellulite or a poor functioning body that leaks....IS NOT YOUR IDENTIFY.  It's only a characteristic.
